You might do if you had already lost the territory and had no way of getting it back anyway and as a part of that settlement you guaranteed the safety of the other 87% (i.e. NATO membership). Zelensky would take that. The problem is persuading Putin. Trump could sell it to him by agreeing that Crimea is historically part of Russia, the Donbas was contested territory and the land bridge to Crimea is a strategic necessity for Russia. So he'll portray the settlement as a triumph for his friend Putin and offer guarantees that no foreign troops or long range weapons will be sited in Ukraine. And offer removal of all sanctions on Russia and international acceptance of the new boundaries. That may be enough face savers for Putin to accept. It's still ultimately a failure for him though because he wanted to keep all of Ukraine in his sphere of influence, not just a little piece of it. Now all of a sudden it's time for peace. Hlmmmmm.
Would have more respect for this interviewee (& the Times) if he didn't regularly say Putin when he meant to say Trump.
Why can they claim Russia losses when Ukrainian losses can't be published on TH-cam?😊
Why do you care? When your country is invaded you do whatever you can to find an advantage.
You can literally make a video stating Ukraine has 100,000 million casualties yesterday.
Nobody is going to stop you lol
Too optimistic
this guy makes no sense at all on either Putin or on Trump, or on the strategic realities for Zelensky etc. Strangest take ive seen yet. Putin doesnt give a monkeys about casualties, but the commander here keeps saying he does?
Give Trump Crimea for 50 years if he Kicks out Russia. just like Hong Kong.its not like Putin is going to give that one up anyway. they can designate Crimea as a diplomatic area were Russia, Ukraine and Europa can work out their problems. an Iland of diplomacy. like the bridge between north and south Korea.
Ukrainian...western losses...deleted immediately...everytime. propaganda channel. Lopsided.😊
Then stop watching it. Easy solution...
Thanks for spamming so many comments which boosts them in the algorithm.
A lot of pointless conjecture from people with no firsthand knowledge.
You're saying Russian lose up to 1million solder but they are not the one complaining of man power shortages and kidnapping it's citizens and sent to the Frontline pls explain.
You do realize that Russia needs North Korea due to manpower shortages right? 😂 And the fact that Russia's economy is doing terrible right? Do you want them to send more people against their will to the front at the cost of Russia's future? 😂
@Ventiezy its more likely to be a part of their agreegment to provide arms and vehicles in exchange for a oportunity to modernize tactics.
Russi has been known to be ablo to support a meat grinder tipe of war like in ww2 so they might be doing a ww2 tipe of build up.
Yes i know it was ussr and not russia but their population is practically the same nowadays
“Shaking hands” … correct … it’s a matter if the “heart” … It’s a Muslim sign of respect … visit Dubai and Almaty for future reference ^^
Russian army has more men than ever. Times radio: 10yrs to recover 🤣🤣🤣
Based on what?
@edgarkuijer5755 Theres this thing called math. Go google russian army numbers before and after. Then subtract the first from the last. If positive, i am correct
@@bryandimery6509 At what cost "Dim" boy???
Men on golf carts and scooters aren't really the forces they are looking for though.
True there called North Korean soldiers
Spent force😂
I'm not allowed to hit likes. But here's my thumbs up anyway👍
Spent
What about kursk?...no mention...
The problem is that you do not understand that Russia is not even really at war. If a war starts, then most of the male population of Russia will be mobilized, let's say it's approximately 35 million people. Many enterprises will switch to military production in about two months. I personally work at such an enterprise and I know that it can produce spare parts for military vehicles. If all this happens, then in a year there will be no such country as Ukraine.
Yeah, sure thing Ivan!
I can't see Putin agreeing to a compromise. Russia is making progress even if it's costly men and equipment.
Vlad the Terrible.....
Q. Why doesn’t TR ever have an economics professor on and get their opinion on the Russian economy? A. Because little James must have a Masters degree in economics 😂😂😂😂😂😂
Total BS 👍👍👍👍The entire video.
Nothing to be proud about when Average Ivan earns less than $800 per month. The poorest citizens of the EU, the Bulgarians, earned 2306 leva, or $1214, in September. Key interest rates at 21 percent, so loans are even higher. Inflation at over 8 percent. The only thing that looks good is unemployment, because there are plenty of jobs available at the meat grinder. Barbarians!
Why do Russian trolls have to use excessive immature emoji's???

Put the bottle down, Hamish. Ukraine doesn't want a ceasefire.
They do under favorable terms. Not under putin's terms.
This Chap is overly optimistic in regards to Ukraine
Some cities in the USA have been razed to the ground due to extremely dry weather...climate change.
No cities in the USA have been razed to the ground. Suburbs of LA have but that is not a city. Stop posting nonsense
Where did these NATO boys see any actual combat.
Hamish was deployed to operations in the 1st Gulf War, Cyprus, Bosnia, Kosovo, Iraq, Afghanistan and Syria
-- Times Radio!!! I wonder whether your guest ever seen humongous "Gulliver" like Peter II The Great(near 7 feet tall) figure? Next to him at most current RF president at most can only be LiliPut the Great!
P.S. I'm glad to hear that things got a lot better in Syria and Kurdistan.
Lol. Spent force is still winning territories n still able to get more recruits each month
Most people inside the US think he’s not a force for good
Didn’t he just win the election? That wouldn’t be “most”.
I forecats the UK forces may never recoiver.
You could say the same for UK forces tbh, and we aren't even in a war.
10 years is nothing, the conflict will ultimately bring the Russian military forward by about 30 years, to the apex of drone warfare and training in that environment, Electronic warfare, pen aided ballistic missiles and hypersonic strike weapons.
Only in your dreams Jimmy
What about the fact that a vast amount of Russian equipment has been destroyed along with most veteran troops
@@jodieford5738 Old obsolete tanks, and APCs that were likely going to be scrapped in the coming years anyway. Much of that gear belongs to the Soviet era of 1970s style armored thrusts through Europe, not relevant to the future of modern warfare that involves AI guided combat drones. Or even today's cobbled together FPV drones. An no, Russias elite is far from destroyed, they are developing a new form of soldier at the forefront of this type of drone warfare, that Western troops have yet to experience. I can see frightening developments emerging from the Russian/PRC alliance in the form of autonomous underwater combat drones, and standoff munitions that air burst to release hundreds of AI guided swarming drones on enemy troops. The arrival of hypersonic weapons in naval warfare, the end of the START treatys etc.
With an economy in ruins and a whole generation decimated
Lol no. While they might have some edge with drones over the west right now, Ukraine is still far ahead of them and they don't need to deal with those pesky sanctions. Russian electronic warfare prowess is also currently being matched by Ukranians with little start-ups from garages in wartime. And finally those hypersonics are a propaganda hoax that people can't stop showing their ignorance over as maneuverable hypersonics is as much of a ridiculous pipedream as nuclear fusion power.
And Russia's economy will take longer
The guy that hosts this show comes to the silliest conclusion and asked the dumbest of questions.😊
Then stop watching and commenting you silly person
Basically WW3 thanks Gordie
Yeah, except for now, he can tap into his large North Korean pool for soldiers. And also, everyone will be wanting his weapons worldwide because of how they prevailed over western armament in Ukraine
Ah, sarcasm.
Your post goes against all evidence - Russia's military exports have collapsed due to the opposite of what you have posted
Imagine West trying to raise an army now imagine how rough the soldiers coming out of North Korea would have to be. I think about all the resources that Russia has, and couple that with China and Russia’s armament manufacturing potential. With everything being fought in their own backyard and weapons that could be made and half the time and half the cost
@@philipmain5701 and they’re losing the war, right?
@@smackattack4284 You have a great imagination, but none of Russia's systems get even close to match US and NATO systems, just look at your air force, your armor, your air defense - Russia is near economic collapses, the Ruble is toilet paper and you boast about Russian power - three years after the start of a three day SMO.
It’s not Russia army at war it’s Wagner soldiers you lames 😂. Us media got you guys so lost in lies
