    Wow that really is a massive campground. I did see another video on this place saying that round fires were prohibited but fire pits are ok.

      Ive seen and had both types there so Im not sure if the rules have changed but these day I just use a fire pit anyway. Its a nice spot Jim. Cheers Steve

    Great to have such a big free camp area so close to town. I was thinking about the lack of evidents of hoons that would stuff the area up but as you said the cops regularly check the place out. Thats great. Good on them. Hell of a long morning walk for you but a good spot to rest the rest of the day putting the feet up

      thats strange it's also called coxs river .. but rivers flow to oceans ? but thats all fresh water and I don't see it connected to the ocean .. interesting

      Redfin and trout, you would be better off over at lake lyell if your fishing
