I just came across your channel and love your videos! My ortho says I have to get a bite plane so she can bring my upper first molars lower down. Is that the same thing as a nance appliance?

A bite plane (or some call it a bite plate) is a removable appliance made of acrylic that fits against the roof of your mouth. It covers the roof of your mouth and the acrylic is thicker behind your front teeth. That means that when it's in place your lower front teeth bite on that thickened acrylic and your back teeth don't touch. Over a few months your back teeth can erupt until they touch again.
I hope that explanation helps. I'll bet there's a TH-cam video out there if you're having terrible picturing it in your head. 👍

Great video! You mentioned removing the super glue with your lab knife. I have used staples to hold the bands into the impression, but are you using super glue to glue the bands into the impression before you pour it up? Also, I didn't see you polish the bands at all. Do you do that to make them shiny after soldering? If so, what do you like to use? Thanks!

Thanks! I use a tiny dot of super glue to hold the bands in the impression before I pour up the impression. I show how I do that in my video on how to pour up an impression with bands. That video can be found on my TH-cam channel Like A Boss Productions.
I don’t polish the bands but I have started to polish the solder joints. I use a green wheel in a lab hand-piece to polish. Then I use a wire brush to clean off the band, bracket, headgear tube, inside the bands, etc, to remove any stone bits or debris that may be stuck on.

What material You use for stick the wire to the cast, before You soldering the wire to the bands? This material îs thermoresistant?

I use Play-Doh. I buy it at WalMart for $1 (cheap!). To prevent it from scorching when I solder I cover it and the wire with a wet paper towel. The water in the paper towel soaks up the extra heat from the torch flame and prevents the wire from overheating and getting brittle. After I've soldered the wire to the bands I pick off the Play-Doh with a wax spatula and brush off any residue with a toothbrush while rinsing it under the faucet.

what are those ketchup bottles used for the storage of acrylic resin? what's it called? and their tips?

They're just plastic squeeze bottles. The monomer bottle can be found by searching "squeeze bottle needle tip" on Amazon.com or a similar site. The polymer bottle would be found by searching for "squeeze bottle". Then you can cut the tip of the polymer squeeze bottle to dispense as much or as little as you like. I like it to dispense very little so I keep the hole very small.
Also, we don't keep a cap on either bottle during storage but you can if you like. I hope that helps! 👍
