Should be noted that Steven Spielberg, according to Jeffrey Katzenberg who asked him about it, never said what was being reported, ie him going to the Academy and spearheading a rule change to require a 4 week theatrical qualifying window for Netflix films.

Wow. Garrett is the man. He just straight shot down all those that poo-poo Netflix Programming-- he make's a fantastic point in highlighting the undeniable statistical fact that the majority of the world does not have easy access to a theater. Streaming platforms like Netflix allow the masses to enjoy modern media. Sorry if that thins the sickeningly fat wallets of big business owners in old media...
