@@ScramblerStories Thank you. I wanna believe i'ts just a tip sensor after a slow speed drop in the grass. 1900 miles on her nothing catastrophic hopefully, yes.
Henry Hartley I agree and don’t be pressured by your peers , this is plenty of bike to do what u need to do except all day rides and then if you break it up it would still work
Moving on/up depends on what you're looking for. City rides are no fun on 600s if you use them for commuting hours. 80+ mph/80+ mpg/$12 month to insure, and it is my only vehicle. Two months of any cager's insurance payments will fill my tank for a year. The TU can be an all purpose bike. That's a rarity in todays market.
Unfortunately he's not riding at the moment. He had continued riding for awhile and also got a Street Scrambler, but motorcycles have taken a back seat for him currently.
Awesome second part. I took the MSF course on a TU250X, awesome little bike. I used to have an Yamaha SR400 as my first bike, some days I still miss it. Keep on riding!
I was using the Sena 10C, which had a camera as well, and Aaron was using the Sena 10S. They've worked fine for the past few years but the camera quality on the 10C is not as good as GoPro/Osmo Action.
Aaron is about 5'8" or 9" I believe. Inseam is what really matters. She should be ok at 5'4" if she doesn't have short legs.Caitlyn is just shy of 5' with an inseam under 27", and it was too tall for her. I think the seat height is 29". Take her to a dealer if possible to throw a leg over.
Saw your comment and as someone shopping for my first motorcycle after taking the MSF course, I was thinking of getting a maxi-scooter like a Suzuki Burgman 400 to get comfortable with street riding and maybe later move up to motorcycle and the whole shifting thing. Did you find riding the Yamaha VMAX helped or made it more difficult when transitioning to a motorcycle?
Aaron is 5'8" or 5'9", with around a 30" inseam. Mine inseam is 32" and I would say it's a bit cramped for my legs. Any taller and I think it's too small. Caitlyn tried to sit on it and it was still too tall for her. Her inseam is less than 27". I would say if you are around 28" to 32" inseam you will probably be fine, but best way to know is go throw a leg over at a dealer. -Chris
Aaron likes it, but he's ready to move on to a bigger bike. It was definitely the perfect first motorcycle for him though. He's had it for over six months now, and is very comfortable as a rider. He was commuting to work on it almost daily, along with riding around with me. Now he's looking to get something with more power, likely a Street Scrambler like mine.
Ha no, probably not. But there's always picking it up with a truck. Otherwise you should be able to find a used one for a good price around where you are. They can always been shipped too.
That's my Triumph Street Scrambler. Most of my videos are about that bike. I absolutely love it, and actually Aaron very recently sold his TU250 and bought a Street Scrambler as well.
Awesome work teacher!
Thank you! 😃
great to see your patience supporting your friend on his biking journey
Thank you! He know rides a Triumph Scrambler as well.
Oh man he got a Scrambler? That's awesome, I have been looking real hard at the T100 myself.
I miss my silver TUx.
She's been at the shop for 30 ish hours and it hurts my soul.
Ahh, hope you get it back soon with a clean bill of health, and hopefully not too expensive of a bill!

Those bloody awful crappy thin Cheng Shin tyres are positively terrifying in the rain too lol
Love your bike Aaron - that rain was a bummer. Your doing it good.
Noisy Cricket!!! Great vid guys! Learning myself and found this super useful.
Awesome, thanks for watching and ride safe!
Loved part 1 and 2. Great story telling.
Thank you!
Great and correct way into biking, start slow on a manageable bike to build up your skills and confidence then move on to a bigger bike,
Yeah, he's going to be getting a bigger bike soon. He's ready for it, but the TU250 was a great starting bike for him.

@@garyteague9555 yeah, I had a TU as a starter, had a sporty and a bonnie, decided to go back and get another TU. just enough, so light n spritely!

The butterfly made me flinch hard!
Great video stayed till the end. Good to know I'll get better over time. Just starting after 30 years absence
Appreciate you watching! The more you ride, the better you get, right? You got this!
does he still ride? awesome video!

GREAT video! And that little 250 is a good looking bike.
Thank you! And yes, it is a good looking bike. It got gawked at more than I thought it would.
@@ScramblerStories She's a neck breaker. Gender/race/age makes no difference. Everybody loves the TU.
I’m seriously curious if this bike can wheelie?
Aaron never did, but apparently they can. Though I wonder if it requires some modding to squeeze a little more power out of it.
Wear a jacket!
As someone who rides in traffic from hell...that's all I could think of as well lol ATGATT! At least you learn from freezing in the rain haha
Thats awsome of you to teach him. This was a fun watch.
Thank you for watching!

How tall are you? I’m thinking to buy tu250 for my wife and she is 5’4”

Hey, am thinking of getting a Tu250 as a first bike. Trying to figure out if the seat height is OK for me. How tall are you? In seam?

Street scrambler all the way
Im looking for this exact bike, are you selling at any point? Whats the year and mileage?
He is actually selling it right now. Here is his listing: www.cycletrader.com/listing/2013-Suzuki-TU250-X-5003204539
Ah damn. 1700 miles away... Probably shouldn't try to cross the country the first time on a motorcycle.
Ha no, probably not. But there's always picking it up with a truck. Otherwise you should be able to find a used one for a good price around where you are. They can always been shipped too.
Lol awsome name for your bike.
What’s that other bike next to the tu250x at 10:14?
That's my Triumph Street Scrambler. Most of my videos are about that bike. I absolutely love it, and actually Aaron very recently sold his TU250 and bought a Street Scrambler as well.
