Aww thank you so much for the awesome shout out Jena!! Yes 5 total plus one kai but I always say I've had 7 heelers because of my two foster we didn't keep. I just have to include them because they taught me so much as well and the one was here a long time. She almost was my first foster fail before my Lu. Love how you said at the end I knew I had to have Clover. Sometimes you just know and you feel it! I still can't believe I picked Gypsy and Sully from pictures. I just knew. Of course when we went to meet Gypsy to make sure she was the one (which she was) Clea of course let it be known she was ours too. I will admit she caught my eye second on her picture lol. Hope you all are doing well. Going now to check out what else I've missed on your channel.
I knew you fostered Lu and a girly before him, I didn’t realize you had another foster baby. I think I binged almost your entire channel last year when I was looking into heelers. My hubby was dead set on one but I wasn’t sure he would really want one since he is NOT a dog person. I would share with him all of the hard moments you were having with Sully thinking that would surly change his mind. But alas, no, he would not even consider another breed of dog. We almost didn’t get Clover because she wasn’t a purebred. But, I had to have her. Funny thing, from her pictures, she would not have been my first choice, but when I talked to the breeder and found out more about her, I fell in love with her. I still think you are the bravest (maybe craziest) person I know because not only did you get litter mates but you got HEELER litter mates! 🤣 And you did it with a full house of animals. You must have some sort of Heeler Mama super powers.
@@busywithdogs Yep, Lu my my third foster actually and that is why he was my foster fail. The first two were so painful letting go I couldn't let go of Lu. There was a boy and a girl, Blue and Gracie. They came together, Blue had to be put in another foster home because he was so miserable here with the other dogs and Gracie adjusted so well but then she was here forever and it just broke me saying bye to both of them. But they ended up in great homes and Blue finally thrived being the only dog in his foster home. I tried so hard to make that dog happy here and he just wasn't. I'm shocked your hubby was still on board with a heeler. I'm glad the breeder was so helpful. A good breeder really knows their dogs and their temperament and I think Clover is a good fit. Definitely crazy for sure! lol It really wasn't planned getting litter mates and there were so many moments I thought, this was a mistake, I messed up but yeah I must have like working dog aura. Even at work some of my coworkers are like watch out for that dog and then they get irritated I'm getting kisses and play from them. The working dogs love me I don't know why. I must give off the lets work hard and then cause some mischief vibes I don't know lol.
Gotcha, right home makes a big difference! I know it was hard, fostering and letting go. I was honestly shocked when he suggested getting Heeler, he is not a dog person and they are not for everyone. I have loved them since a I was a child but never thought I would have one. He would listen as I would watch videos with the issues that you had with Sully and he wasn’t bothered. I would look into breeds that were more “family” friendly and he would not even want to consider another breed. Guess he is a cattle dog person! Our breeder is absolutely lovely! Her babies are very affordable too. Whenever we get another dog we will be going back to her.
About the dogs at your work, why doesn’t that surprise me! I just don’t think everyone understands the working dogs, and those of us who do just connect with them so easily.
Did you enjoy this style of vlog? If you did, we may do more this style in the future.

@busywithdogs he must be spiritually connected to the heeler then 😆 ❤️ I swear I feel a kinship in my soul with them.
