Kari M That is not accurate. It was not the real estate team putting up photos that caused the problem. Real Estate agents do that all the time to help sell a place. They are not the ones to blame. It 's the urban explorers putting videos of empty homes on TH-cam that cause the problem, by drawing attention to empty places and making people curious about them. These TH-camrs are more worried about drawing attention to their channels and making a buck, than having respect for someone's property. I hope sometime soon, that more serious laws are made regarding trespassing. Until then, these folks will continue to do what they do, unfortunately.
Honestly I loved this home I wish I could have it for myself it’s sad that these people have to vandalize everything they see but it’s too late now it’s demolished 😢

If i bought this house, this house be gutted and re done, it be so modernized with bold colours. This looks like an old folk house or funeral home.

It doesn't tell you why the owners with the kids moved out and left their toys there. The last owner didn't even live there. It must have been the owner with the kids before him. That is the most puzzling question, why all the toys were left. None of the info fills in that gap. Mrs. Jazzmine Dolan, do you happen to know how they died, or where you heard that? Unless the children died too, it still seems strange no one would get their things for them. Makes you wonder if the whole family went down in a plane crash or some natural disaster.

mkschreder, From what I have found I think the mans name was George Fejer. He had a company in Barrie / Toronto building kit cars. Apparently he was the one doing Fiero to Ferrari conversions back in the day.
mkschreder it was a guy who did a grow op. He was supposed to do it legally for the gov. and then stole electricity and got greedy. Had kids there too. If you go on TH-cam and watch people go into abandoned mansions it shows some of the grow op stuff. It wasn't until I saw the shell tub that I realized it was the same house. I think it's demolished now.
Yes he was a British guy that originally built the place back in 1995. My Uncle bought one of his kit cars back in the 90's. Think it was a 348 Ferrari that he built up. Then a guy called Jeff Green, a founder of a moving company bought the place in 2008. He's the person that hired the realtors that put this video together of the mansion, when he wanted to sell in 2012.
Someone else then bought it, never moved in but set up a grow OP. Why anyone would buy a place likethis priced at $1.7m, just to do a commercial grow operation is crazy tbh, when you could hire a industrial unit with more sq ft far far cheaper, but that's a different point. Obviously all this didn't go down to well with the local neighbouhood because after a neighbourhood meeeting, which was set up to discuss this house growing weed and it's impact on the locals, a fire started in the foyer & it was suspected to be an electrical problem. Although in truth there's been a bit of a myth built up by youtubers etc that it was directly to do with the grow OP and pinching electric, no one actually knows the truth, because the facts were never released but I suppose it sounds cool.
Then unfortuantely people gradually started getting in, oringinally just taking pictures for urban explorer sites, when it was stil in great condition but then idiot youtubers started filming themslves and others giving out the address and in the space of just over a year, the place was smashed to bits and destroyed by morons, then pullled down a few months ago.

Chris sophie they grew medical marijuana and the house actually later had a fire. They tried to claim more than they lost so it ended up being fraud.

It has been abandoned since the house and its realtors got busted for growing illegal drugs in it. Basicaly since this video was uploaded its been abandoned.
