I love how important Wu Bi has become to her and how he really loves her 3:30 3:35

I love this series so much. It’s well filmed, it’s beautiful, I don’t have words to express how amazing it is. I love this version and how they are showing their connection. It’s heartfelt and the characters are more likable in the sense of character development 💕

When Su Yu rests his head on Wu Bi’s butt, it a rare moment of “affection” in an indirect way.

Episode 9 changes so many things...!!
I was glad to see that talk between father and son was almost the same as in ADDICTION Episode 11... Even the very same idea about everything being orchestrated by 缘分 - Yuánfèn = FATE. The only change: before the father gave him 3 days... this time he got one entire week to bring WU BI "back home to me".
Their reunification as shown in the first scene here was really beautiful this time, so different from ADDICTION: no violence, no kidnaping, no fighting, no forcing SU YU in any way.
I really disliked that part in ADDICTION, and this time the script created a master romantic reconciliation scene. Only the translation is hilarious:
SU YU - "Get in the car..." ???? What car...?? That is a BICYCLE, people...!!! 😂😂😂
How lovely is seeing them both wearing the blue scarfs knitted by Auntie ZHOU... and WU BI playing hard to get in this moment... 🤗 😍 😘
WU BI's face of joy and victory in the car seeing how SU YU rides after him 0:28 is awesome. It seems missing SU YU during the last days after their many fights has calm him down enough to overcome the fact that they are step brothers, and embrace their new reality.

Their reunification dialogue was very simple at 1:49 ... but the actions are what matter here. SU YU replay closest that matter completely, with that:
你别蹬鼻子上脸啊 - Nǐ bié dēng bízi shàng liǎn a (an idiom for) = Don't push your luck.
One of the highlight of Episode 9 was definitely the complete family reunification... with Duo Duo running into her Prince WU BI's arms at 3:25 🤗 😍
For a short moment I though I was watching actor XU BIN (here as WU BI) as the 9th Prince returning to the Palace in "Attack On! Princess."... his wife running to welcome him back (that would be play by Duo Duo here) and being stopped by the jealous 8th Prince (that would play by SU YU here)... 😂😂😂
The lie about who is older was also kept in this remake... as WU BI says is the 1st of June, when his birthday is actually the 18th June. 🤣🤣🤣
Before they were born in May... so both Taurus... this time they have become 双子座 Shuāngzǐzuò = Gemini (The Great Twins)... a new symbolic meaning to their personalities and fate. WU BI wanted originally to be "the one in charge" of looking after SU YU and that way having a sort of excuse to behave extra sweet and caring with him; but the change from "哥哥 - Gēgē = older brother", into "弟弟 - Dìdì - younger brother" gives him a stronger excuse actually, to demand that SU YU takes care of him much more than just good friends would do. 🤗😍
This change of status has his advantages in their step brothers relationship too; as the family bond covers up for their openly closeness everywhere, specially at school. I remember how important this was in the Thai BL "My Bromance The Series"... with GOLF exploiting his older brother status (PHI) to keep his younger step brother BANK (NONG) all for himself.
The sexual assault on Auntie ZHOU is a heart breaking moment in this REMAKE that leads to SU YU asking his father to marry her... 😱😭😭
Amazing how WU BI played the hero this time again, fighting those gangsters and taking them down until the police came.
The talk between SU YU and WU BI about having his father and Auntie ZHOU getting married is much deeper than it was in ADDICTION Episode 13. Before Gu Hai just wanted to have Bai Luo Yin all for himself, moving together with him... but this time the main premise of the entire Series is having a complete family of their own... so moving into WU BI's luxury apartment is not a choice to make.
SU YU's wish of having 唯一不被分享的爱 - Wéiyī bù bèi fēnxiǎng de ài = "only an exclusive LOVE" of his own is exactly what WU BI is longing for too.
The reasons SU YU gives to his father for getting married are identical with those of BAI LOU YIN... specially the idea of getting marry for his own sake (Do it for ME).
The wedding is done beautifully... very similar to ADDICTION... and with WU BI taking SU YU with him away at the end as well.. But this time the farewell is just for one night. WU BI's last words:
我们都不是多余的 - Wǒmen dōu bùshì duōyú de = "We will never be outsiders"... consolidates the main intention in this REMAKE Version of keeping the entire new combined family living together.
The studying together scenes and becoming more intimate body-wise moves SU YU and WU BI into the next level of their relationship.
Specially for WU BI... who is already aware of his feelings for SU YU, but remains cautious whenever they are about to have body contact... 😂😂😂
Here the translation at 4:42 is totally WRONG once again.... 😡 🤨 🙄
SU YU says: 趴过来 - Pā guòlái = Lie down!
WU BI (protecting his body in a shy way): 干吗 - Gànma = What for...? 🫣
SU YU: 我让你趴过来你就趴过来 - Wǒ ràng nǐ pā guòlái nǐ jiù pā guòlái = I am telling you to lie down, so lie down right now. 🥵
This scene was different in ADDICTION Episode 12. There GU HAI was to learn something in social history; and depending on the answers he would get a place to sleep far way from BAI LOU YIN; or together with him. Here SU YU establishes 6:07 that for WU BI to lie down and rest on his body just the same way WU BI would have to finish all the math exercises...! 🤪🤪
Our poor WU BI is never going to make it.... 😂 😂 😂
My GAY RADAR let me find these gay related posters on the wall and the wardrobe in WU BI's bedroom in Episode 10.
This means... WU BI is already gay, and he knows it. Let's see.... on the wall by WU BI's bed we have at 5:30
(up - left side) "Torch Song Trilogy" from 1988 (USA) is a gay film that has a very dramatic story, and deals also with the wish having a complete family. In the end Arnold does have an adoptive song Dave and his first greatest love ED living together with him.
(up - right side) - Vive L'Amour by Tsai Ming-liang from 1994 (Taiwan) deals with the need of warmness and communication in an abandoned apartment in Taipei where two guys have occasional sex.
(down - left side) - BLUE by gay film director Derek Jarman from 1993; a film of strong autobiographical story elements and that is an homage to many gays with AISD from his generation.
(down - right side) - An art-print poster of the openly gay musician David Bowie. This picture is one of many taken by openly gay photographer Brian Duffy in 1973 during the photo session for the cover of Bowie's Aladdin Sane Album.

I am doing the same for each separated Episodes in the TH-cam release of this Series by the producer channel HUANCE, which is better to direct and time the scenes all thru the Episodes. I prefer also this REMAKE a lot more than ADDICTION, specially with the new general idea of having a complete combine family of their own for the leads, but I find very interesting to compare the scenes that are similar, to see the differences of intention and influences in the story in both of then.

For what it is worth BinBin is straight. The lovingness is authentic BUT quite asexual. Affection to drown in but there is a limit to the quality of true lust in BinBin. There a thin but clear line in face and body to his attraction toSuYu. There is no doubt a development in his affection, but there is a limit: even s he erects, he is proud to admit and be seen erect, he has something t prove...being a top. But that thin space between his lust and love is clear. He tries a bit too hard (pun intended)

Même si les deux séries ont le même scénaristes et proviennent du même auteur. Cette série est magnifique mais elle ne sera jamais Addicted. Parce que le charisme de Johnny Huang et Timmy Xu ne peut être surpassé que par eux même. L'histoire est sympathique, et on retrouve des clins d'oeil de Addicted. L'histoire avance plus vite et est souvent inversée comparé à the Addicted. Mais quelle sera la raison de Su Yu de rester aux côtés de Wu Bi, puisque Lui Yin reste avec Gu Hai par amour. Comment allons-nous développer ce faux triangle amoureux entre Wu Bi, Su Yu et Yu. Même si la série reste sympa bien interprétée, je préfère la considérer comme une tout autre histoire à part et ne veut l'associer à Addicted, qu'en tant qu'histoire similaire
Addicted is Addicted, I love this series. To me, it's irrepleasable. But please, don't be a hater. Stay with Me is a good series as well, and it's another vision/version of the novel, no need to compare.
