One of the Best Flow Trails I've Ridden - Tillman West DH George Washington Nat'l Forest MTB

- 2.15 miles of sweet, sweet flow! Another trail from my recent Reddish Knob trip, the Tillman West DH is part of the Narrowback Mountain loop in George Washington National Forest, located just off the Wolf Ridge trailhead (which serves as the bottom of the traditional Reddish Knob descent) and is a must hit if you're in the area. The Shenandoah Valley Bike Coalition built and maintains this trail and it's a great example of what trail advocacy can accomplish on public lands.
We parked at the bottom of the trail on Tillman Rd. and did it as an out and back, but can be done as a loop with other Narrowback trails. We started the descent from the peak of the Tower Trail and descended all the way down Tillman Rd. below. The trail starts out fast and a bit rocky, but then turns into a first class flow trail filled with rollers, doubles and berms that seem to go on forever. There's a tiny climb in the middle, otherwise it's all killer, no filler and makes excellent use of the terrain squeezing everything it can out of the 600 ft of elevation. If you're in the Harrisonburg area, this is must hit, in my opinion. Hope you enjoy it!

Crazy fast wipe out, glad Max was ok. Nice rip boys!
Thanks Sage! Fortunately that was the only spill on the whole trip and was pretty mellow.
