  • This is a live recording from our free Retrofit for Social Housing Summit from 25th March 2021.
Retrofit has rocketed up the agenda of many social landlords and local authorities over the past 12 months. Yet there are massive challenges ahead to understand the housing stock and develop a coherent retrofit strategy, all while maintaining compliance with the PAS 2035 Standard with a supply chain in its infancy.
The Summit aims to help you navigate these waters, particularly by:
    - Taking stock of where we are with retrofit in the social housing sector
    - Considering lessons learned to-date, including those we may have forgotten
    - Identifying and explaining growing opportunities for retrofit in social housing
    - Considering the emerging role of local authorities in managing retrofit schemes and whether this is the shape of things to come.
    Our guest speakers included:
Emily Braham, Head of Energy Projects at Nottingham City Homes, speaking on 'Our Retrofit Journey: Top 10 Lessons Learned So Far.'
Peter Rickaby, Technical Director, The Retrofit Academy, speaking on 'Remembering Retrofit for the Future: 10 Years On, Have We Forgot What We Already Know?'
Kate Duffy, Senior Policy Advisor, LADs Scheme, BEIS, speaking on 'The LAD Scheme and Future Policy Direction on Fuel Poverty'
Adam Mathias, Programme Lead for Whole House Retrofit, BEIS, speaking on 'Whole House Retrofit Competition - What Have We Learned So Far?'
Mike Martin, Integrated Delivery Team Leader, SHDF, speaking on 'Social Housing Decarbonisation Fund - An Overview and What’s to Come' (N.B. Mike's recording is to follow in a separate video)
