I started with the Baby Lock Vibrant Serger, It was my first Serger. But then I graduated from the Vibrant to the Baby Lock Celebrate. It is a little more pricy due to the air threader technology. But for me, it was worth it, because my eyes were getting worse and it was difficult for me to thread the Vibrant. I am very happy with the Celebrate.
I have a White 2000ats and it threads like the vibrant, its basically the same machine. I have to remove the presser foot to thread the needles, it is easier that way. After 20+ years my old eyes and hands have a need to upgrade. I am asking Santa to bring me the celebrate.
Thank you, Mary Anne for the great demo! This is best comparison video for these machines I’ve seen.

But I have a question, I know Baby Lock recommends Organ needles, but is it okay to use Schmetz needles?
Yes! We use Schmetz needles. They’re great!
Video is too dark. Can’t see anything
