I totally agree with it being weird when your ankles and calves are covered but your toe is open. Like those weird sandals that have the whole front of the door open but then have a huge band covering the ankle. It’s like wearing a sweater with a skirt.

So true. If you are wearing not well made shoes (some of the expensive brands also have shoes made badly) when you are young, you are going to have a lot of problems with feet and your spine when you are older.

Audrey Dumbura yeah I bought boots a size up and they were perfect. But then bought them in a different colour and one shoe was too small and one fit me. So I bought them again in a size up again and they're too big. I feel like you can't trust the sizing completely. X
Plastic seems like a cheap gimmick but do agree the clear wedge looked good. I have ski feet and couldn't wear any of those but the sneakers. Feet are so narrow, I need all shoe string or adjustable buckles and have to add holes to make them narrower and not slosh around in them.

I bought some skechers and absolutely love the comfort that they give me walking. I also bought Nike's off a whim 2 yrs back. I wore them 2x then eventually sold them because I couldn't figure out what to wear them with. 🤦🏾I'm not an ankle grazer jeans type girl and I always struggled to style them. I'm still tempted to buy the ASOS trainers too, but again I probably wouldn't wear them.
