Christmas can be overwhelming for a child with autism... So I've created this video to help you find tips and ideas for decorating your home at Christmas. Remember to prioritise sensory needs, colours, textures, lighting etc Involve your child, I left out toys and decorations for Cameron to help put up if he wanted too! Use visuals... I showed Cameron a photo of our Christmas tree from last year to help him remember and prepare him for what was coming after he got home from school! Tips and more advice at the end of the video!
