yea i had that same opinion. however this is how the score is written. this is a cadence not exactly WRITTEN by me and im struggling to find a pattern that works. i was thinking of changing the 3s to doubles on each drum for quads and 2s on the basses going down and up. since thats how other versions of this score are played such as IHS.
I would remove the 4 over 6 pattern between the snares vs quads and basses. It sounds dirty.
