that really is amazing, I heard the voices are the ceo of mini and the designer of mini. That is just too cool:) This is what I love about mini's, you can find these cool stuff in other cars.
Yeah, I was really excited to have ordered that feature. I read somewhere that it has over 1,300 different lines of audio. Over the last two months of using it almost every trip, some things I have heard over and over, but I still get surprised with new lines from time to time, sometimes it makes me laugh out loud. :)
The voices (Mission Control) will only work with the MINI Connected App installed on an iPhone that's plugged into the car. There was however, a MINI Cooper S 50th Camden Edition a few years ago that had the Mission Control feature built into the car.
Haha! I love my MINI and my Sony NEX Alpha. The MINI is an amazingly styled car, so I can only imagine that one's taste in electronics (hopefully), is just as interesting.
If you have this feature (iConnect) installed on you car, then yes you do if you have an i-device such as an iPod Touch or iPhone and you have installed the MINI connected app from the iTunes Apps store. Lastly you will need to download the "Themes" within the MINI connected app to get the voices.
We have a 2012 countryman. I would like to extend the power to the dash control systems beyond the two minutes currently available. The car electricsl sys shuts down before I can finish programing anything ??
You should have been provided a Y-cable from your dealer at no charge if you purchased the car brand new. If you didn't or you just need to order one, do a quick Google search for "MINI gen 2 Y-cable" and you should come across a few websites offering a replacement. Or try (outmotoring . com)

Do the vocie only come on if you have an iPhone or is that a normal sound from the car? If so I want a mini badly that is so awsome.
