Like the G Reg 956XL that we had ,built like a tank, and that purring engine,lovely.
Thas a nice sounding tractor.
One thing to remember with these seed drills if you have to stop when sowing for any reason you must lift the drill up an reverse back a few feet before continuing.
We had the identical drill, we pulled it with a 2wd Renault 781s on duals. The whole outfit would just about "walk on water", it would certainly go where these new heavy artillery Vaddys pulled by 200 hp tractor with a bloody huge weight block on the front end would certainly fear to tread!
@theforester3426 Yes because the seeds was blown up from the bottom of the hopper up the central tube before having to go down those pipes to the coulters. Another thing you found was it was a good idea to take that plastic distributor head off now and again ( A quick wingnut job) just to make sure nothing had blocked up any outlets such as a piece of paper or ticket from a seed bag, otherwise you ended up with "extra" tramlines 😊.
The 1056xl was famed for having an engine that ran like a Swiss watch.
