- Wow... Powerdown really left some big shoes to fill with the views it got. I hope this was worth the wait. It certainly took a lot longer than I thought/planned. Hope it's "good enough", and I hope that you enjoy!

Friday Night Funkin' (also known as Friday Night Funkin': The Full Ass Game) is a rhythm video game developed by Funkin' Crew Inc. and released on Newgrounds in 2020. The game is developed by a small group called The Funkin' Crew Inc., which consists primarily of Cameron "ninjamuffin99" Taylor, David "PhantomArcade" Brown, Isaac "Kawai Sprite" Garcia, and evilsk8r. The game is also open-source. It shares some gameplay features with Dance Dance Revolution, PaRappa the Rapper, and the "Dance Contest" minigame from Club Penguin, and borrows aesthetic influences from Flash games. The game has been credited with driving users back to Newgrounds, a site that rose in popularity in the early 2000s.
The game revolves around the player character, Boyfriend, who must defeat a variety of opponents in singing and rapping contests in order to continue dating his love interest, Girlfriend. Gameplay involves hitting notes with timed inputs while avoiding running out of health for the duration of the song.
Just wanted to say that I am already looking into a V2 of this cover, so don't you worry. I'm gonna get it fixed up and (hopefully) better! (When will this happen? I can't be for sure, but it will happen.)
Personally I think I would've preferred it just be MX vs Monika in Powerdown and in Demise. I like the concept of Kilobyte, not that I know much about him as a character, I just think MX would have been better suited for both covers. Think you can give it a try? Plus, Monika and MX are like both my favorite fictional characters, and no one has done a cover of them duking off. All and all though, I think it's' really well done. Monika sings amazingly in this! Amazing work overall!
Hey thanks! To be honest, I just wanted KiloByte in something, and I figured since he is the new official best friend to Lord X, I’d put him where MX is. As for Monika, she’s here because I have some stuff incoming, and it’s this is an AU to my upcoming videos. Glad you liked it! I’ll take a look into MX and Monika, but for now, I have something similar planned. (P.S. I would definitely recommend looking into KiloByte’s story. It’s pretty fun, and would explain some of his dialogue.)
