Holy I'm really glad YT recommended this to me. This is not just a wonderful cover but you kindly shared the tabs. I'll definitely share this to all my friends. BTW, this encourage me to try playing this by myself. But I'm a bit curious to why you hardly use your index finger. For example in first 20 seconds I think the only time is at 0:18 to play first and second string. I've never played a cover this complex so this may be a stupid question, but I would be really happy if you answer it. Anyway, thanks for ur cover again!
Thank you so much! Glad you enjoyed it so much 😁 There isn't really a reason behind me not using my index finger. It's just a habit I unknowingly developed as I'm entirely self-taught, and it's something I've settled into without knowing any better 😅 I really only involve my index finger when I need to pluck/roll 4 or 5 strings (basically when I run out of fingers). I just want to emphasize that the way I play is by no means a good reference for proper technique! I'm still learning myself and there's plenty I don't know. Again, thank you for enjoying my covers! 😁 It really means a lot.
Wow, i left this account of mine for very long, btw, 2 new beautiful sounding covers :) Maybe i should finally buy some strings for acoustic, and come back to fingerstyle (i switched to electric guitar for a long time). Anyway, this sounds great, i probably see you progress very much with your passion to your talent)
Omg another release before next year! Very much appreciate your hard work! Just a small question, but I wonder if there are any tips or guides about developing guitar speed and techniques? Thanks so much.
Thank you so much for enjoying my work! 😁 I don't really have any special tips, but I've found that playing with a metronome works well for me. The metronome is important! Start slow, slow enough to comfortably play every note cleanly, then repeat at a higher tempo until you start making mistakes, or you realise your notes aren't as clean/intentional as you'd like. I think the biggest advice I can give in general is to make sure that everytime you practice, you practice with a specific focus, a specific aim in mind (like improving your speed, your sense of rythym, etc.). I personally get the urge to tackle all my problems at once in each practice session, and I've found that in trying to fix everything, I end up not improving on much of anything at all 😅 My practice routines for a cover goes something like this: The first few sessions when I'm still unfamiliar with my arrangement, I'll just play through it without a metronome, but as cleanly as I can. The intention here is to familiarise myself with the techniques and notes to play. In the subsequent sessions I bring out the metronome. I first begin slowly, focusing on being able to play each note and each technique with intention, as cleanly as I can. As I get more comfortable, I increase the tempo and repeat. When I find my playing getting messy/undisciplined, I bring the tempo back down again. I repeat this process until I reach the tempo I'm aiming to play it at. Might not be the best method as I'm no expert, but that's what I've found works best for me so far. Your mileage may vary, but I hope this helps in some way!
@@kusastringsWow, that's super helpful! I can see that problem always happens to me every time 😅,gonna try my best to follow your advice. Thanks so much for your encouragement. Wish you the best :D
