- Opening year footage of Day in the Park with Barney. The show and its play area would remain open until it was closed in August 2020 due to COVID-19. Its permanent closure was announced January 2021.
Running for 25 years it is one of the longest lasting attractions at Universal Orlando. Only the ET dark-ride has a longer tenure in the park.
OMG There Was So Much People In The Audience Compared To What We Have Now
In the early years of this attraction, people can get to meet Barney on stage before they leave.
Before this shows is over they have Barney backyard a children's playground
The Barney Costume is similar to the one used in Season 3

As a kid I never like Barney and friends at all didn’t like them at all possibly I hated them so I decided that animal actors is marginally better than Barney
I saw this in 2013! It was wonderful!
This show is no longer here it’s gone as of 2021 it’s been replaced by dreamworks meet and greet area dance party
since the animation studio's purchase in 2016

Here are the attractions: Barney The Coaster, Baby Bop’s Round and Round, Bj’s Freefall, Riff Riffy ride through, A day in the park with Barney, Kiddie’s Barney the Cutie Dinosaur (Only on Studio tour) Barney and Friends: A walk through attraction for all ages, Barney’s Wheel: Ferris Wheel and Barney and the Riding Gang at Universal Studios Hollywood

I loved the idea of the show, I just wish that they would’ve updated it at least a little bit especially since Barney’s voice changed a couple times but still good none the less 💯

Characters
Main
Barney - the main character, a two hundred million year friendly 6-foot purple tyrannosaurus-rex who comes to life from a plush toy by way of children’s imaginations is friends with Baby Bop and BJ.
Baby Bop - a green three-year-old Triceratops who's Barney's friend and BJ's sister. She loves to carry her yellow blankey, which is seen in the attraction.
BJ - a yellow Protoceratops who is a good friend of Barney's and Baby Bop’s seven-year-old brother. He likes to run, jump, and ride around on his red scooter, which is seen in the attraction.

Mr. Peekaboo - An eccentric, very forgetful, jovial and lovable individual who's favorite game is peek-a-boo. In auditions, he's described as pudgy who's forty-ish.
Mrs. Peekaboo - The wife of Mr. Peekaboo who's also a very forgetful, jovial and lovable individual who's favorite game is peek-a-boo.
Bartholomew the Parrot - a bird friend of the Peekaboo's.
