So did you watch Ismo's take on the most important word of the Finnish language? (more like a pair of words but there you go) or about Finnish evolved version of small talk (key word on SMALL).
He is the biggest comedian in Finland, of course doesn't do so many gigs here but when he does, he fills in arenas. Has been popular for quite long and why not, he is a natural talent. There are others that are roughly in the same level but it is not easy to switch to English, finnish jokes rely so much on word play. For ex kuusi and kuusi means spruce or number six, depending on the context.. and there are a LOT of those. So it is quite easy to put in a lot of material that rely on the quirks of the weird language that has nothing in common with English. The entire sentence structure is different. Observational comedy translates much better, of course and that is what Ismo does.

The reason we switched from pain in the neck to pain in the ass, is because we used to work a lot more so commonly understood what having a sore neck after a long day felt like. Now we sit on our asses all day so that is the common experience. And we have become so lazy that the idea of moving from sitting sounds like hard work, so pulling something out of your ass symbolises actually having to put effort into something.
I have seen many of your videos and liked them all, but this really makes a difference; you're a Finn now. Please continue posting and please visit Finland more often. Wanna have a place to stay for couple of days or so, just ask..

His material is really similar to what it is in finnish, like thinking about words and what they mean and how they change in different situations. @@smokyislay Yes, the beauty in his comedy is that it's mostly "family friendly" stuff. He has done some gig's in Finnish where he has more R-rated stuff, but that's not why he is so popular. He has a talent to observe things and twist them and find different angles that most don't even think, but when they hear them they're "oh, that's true! "

He hasn't actually moved back for good (as there's so much more audience = money to be made in the US), but they came home just because it's safer/the situation with covid is overall handled a bit better in Finland.

I was sitting next to Ismo at Uforock many years back. I didn't know him back then. It was fun to see that he really made fun of all that stuff, but was still respectful. The other presenters made a big deal about how Jesus was an alien spawn and how that was said in the Bible somehow. I'm not a big believer on all that alien stuff, but many people there were. Still Ismo made everyone laugh.

Was it at Laugh Factory? It's amazing how much he has to say about one word. If it's not too much for you, two videos a week would be nice. One for reaction videos, music and occasionally something else, like this Ismo reaction for example. And another weekly video the way you've been doing for a longer time already. Ismo is a funny-ass guy 😅. And an honest answer to your question. Your Nightwish videos are excellent, because they managed to surprise you so much that you get a little hyped and also emotional. It's a good start, but now calm down a little and don't rush with the reaction videos. Just keep us waiting and anticipating. I've seen maybe about thousand reaction videos, so there are many kinds of stuff. Some are analyzing as "vocal coaches", some are funny, some do crazy things, wear funny clothes or masks etc. There are also "bad" reactions from unpleasant people with no intellectual or emotional content. And finally, beautiful women (like you 😉 get often more thumbs and subs than "ugly" men. That's just the way of the world. Some of my favorites (just a name few) are Helsinki-living French-Canadian harpist, singer/songwriter and music teacher Elvann Abendroth (analyzes mostly singing), French-Canadian franciscan friar (!?) Guylain Prince (analyzes mostly lyrics) and Halflifesistah and her husband Wolfkain. Sistah is very emotional and Wolf trys to be more analytical, but falls sometimes quite emotional too. They all are big Nightwish fans, so watch them with care if you want to do "first time" reactions to more Nightwish songs, but you can watch the songs that you've already done. I Have watched Halflifesistah and Wolfkain, but I have not hear about those two you was mentioning. Maybe I´ll check them out. Ismo also has a similar kind of video about the word s.it. Just saying I'm not suggesting you react to that. The performance when he won the title of The World's Funniest Man, was a good one. Was it at Laugh Factory? It's amazing how much he has to say about one word.
If it's not too much for you, two videos a week would be nice. One for reaction videos, music and occasionally something else, like this Ismo reaction for example. And another weekly video the way you've been doing for a longer time already. There is a demand, I can tell.
Ismo is right. If things that happen every day are great, fantastic and so on, what the heck do you say when someting really exceptionally wonderfull happens? If in Finland after a meal you say it was good, it's not an insult. It's friday evening now, 8pm, in Finland and Port Wine tastes good - not great, not fantastic, but good.)
I enjoy watching your videos - but I'm not super excited, only excited😁. Please, don't take that as an insult. Remember I am a Finn, and we don't get excited easily. Though I've noticed I use more superlatives when I use English instead of Finnish. American exaggeration is contageous.

Ismo is a funny-ass guy 😅. And an honest answer to your question. Your Nightwish videos are excellent, because they managed to surprise you so much that you get a little hyped and also emotional. It's a good start, but now calm down a little and don't rush with the reaction videos. Just keep us waiting and anticipating. I've seen maybe about thousand reaction videos, so there are many kinds of stuff. Some are analyzing as "vocal coaches", some are funny, some do crazy things, wear funny clothes or masks etc. There are also "bad" reactions from unpleasant people with no intellectual or emotional content. And finally, beautiful women (like you 😉 get often more thumbs and subs than "ugly" men. That's just the way of the world. Some of my favorites (just a name few) are Helsinki-living French-Canadian harpist, singer/songwriter and music teacher Elvann Abendroth (analyzes mostly singing), French-Canadian franciscan friar (!?) Guylain Prince (analyzes mostly lyrics) and Halflifesistah and her husband Wolfkain. Sistah is very emotional and Wolf trys to be more analytical, but falls sometimes quite emotional too. They all are big Nightwish fans, so watch them with care if you want to do "first time" reactions to more Nightwish songs, but you can watch the songs that you've already done. Hope that my jabbering helps you a little. 👍
I Have watched Halflifesistah and Wolfkain, but I have not hear about those two you was mentioning. Maybe I´ll check them out. Few of my personal favorites at this moment Mr. Rock N Roll (Super excited), The Charismatic Voice (Vocal Coach) and Millie Mossiae (Fan Perspective).TBH. I like to watch Nightwish and I want to see different people reacts this great band In my honest opinion. And now that US have election day coming maybe this might be interesting video to react.
