I had a Wagner 1HP .45 GPM sprayer in storage for 15 years. I used motor oil to preserve the pump. I did not think it would work, but to my surprise it fired right up and it works just like it did the day I stored it.
"Graco sprayers make clean up easier than you might think"!? I came here because I can recite Pi to the 50th digit but the cleanup steps for my paint sprayer far surpass my available RAM. In the first few seconds my anxiety was eased with the afore mentioned quote. What followed was 5 minutes plus of something that makes the Rubics cube solution look like a child's book. Thanks for confirming what I knew.
This is hard. I just flush with the prime first then spray next. I keep going till all the water runs clear. My top tip is if there's a bath or shower available then site the sprayer in there to keep things clean!
50% ethane-1,2-diol (Ethylene glycol) + 50% demineralised water = RV grade antifreeze (protection up to -32.0 degrees Fahrenheit, cost per 1 quart/liter is 3$)
oh guess what, no instructions on CLEANING THE NOZZLE!!!!! That means the paint hardens in the nozzle and no more operation the next time you use it - now you need paint thinner and needles to poke the opening.
They also rust.. I just painted a entire house with a Graco sprayer that we have used half a dozen times and we just ran water through the tips and stored it for 6 months and all the tips were fried.. you can’t just use water on them and walk away

Mike you can put the spray tip on once the water comes out the hose just spray water to clean the tip.

that soundtrack makes me want to paint happy little trees on a canvas
How about make a video cleaning oil based paint.
Do I need to leave the blue hose attached while it's not being used?
Yes some jobs do not allow for access to house to flush, what's your step then. I'm considering the x7?
Exactly thoughts also
He didn't run the pump armor up into the gun.
pump armor, much like the same type of stuff you use to protect pressure washers is RV grade antifreeze .. that's all it is..

I live In nyc we don’t have faucet to connect the the garden hose. How do I clean it without that?
5 gallon buckets of water, there's other videos showing how.
I have a video about that process on my channel
No one mentions the water left in the hose?!
Nice videos to learning
Nothing is coming out of prime tube
Hi,
Do you have a video like this one in Spanish? thank you

just run the sprayer through with water like you were loading it with paint

we use windshield washer antifreeze, contains corrosion inhibitors so no rust on check balls/seats.
