The sewing of the folding part was very difficult for me but the final result is great! I really can breathe much better but I wish adding a filter was possible. Otherwise, I suggest wearing a face shield in addition to this mask.

Hi! You don't know me, but I may have an answer to your breathing problem. You may not believe this, but what have you got to lose. Wash your hands thoroughly before you start. Find a pressure point in your eye socket. This is in the inside (very little pressure here, don't want to damage your eye) and the bone of your eye socket. Put all the pressure on the bone (press as hard as you can tolerate) and hold it for one minute and if done right, you should be breathing easier in no time. Had it done by Tiwanese massage therapist. Hope this helps. REMEMBER very little pressure on the eyeballs.

No you didn't. The person did not show it on their face. I always say that, but others get upset and say what différence does it make ? It makes à lot of différence to me. By seeing how it fit, I would décide whether or not I would like to make it or wear it. But guess that's how it is

The thing is people ask before they waste the time and fabric to see if it was what they may want out of a mask. Maybe they only have the one piece of fabric to make it with, and don't have money to buy more. If it is not the fit they would like then they waste both time and fabric and have to settle for a fit they don't like.

Faster to make than the Florence mask and my claustrophobic family member says they can breathe so much better. I made out 1 layer of good quality cotton and layer 2 from tea towel cotton. I did change the nose to have only 2 pleats which makes the mask fit your nose perfect. Thank you for sharing the patterns.

A mask that only protects others is of dangerously limited value. Bamboo fabric and coffee filters are said to add the non woven protection we need!

I can’t breath with the pleated ones. The cloth gets sucked in between my nose and top lip. I can only wear them if I breath through my mouth.
