For sure. I've seen people with more experience not do as good as her when getting in a new higher power car and do wheelies and get loose. Hats off to her. Great job.

To everyone saying it’s to much for EJ! Think of who made the decision to put her in the car, you think he made that decision lightly? You think he doesn’t know EJ’s demeanor and potential? I have every bit of confidence that with the support she has the many years of experience teaching her and the determination she has that she will get it running decent times very quickly! The fact that she stays calm and already knows when to pedal and can control that unrefined and untested car the way she did speaks volumes of her potential! Everyone starts somewhere! She started with around 350/400 wheel horsepower and now is in 880 wheel horsepower that is tuned way down! Probably only using 500 horsepower at the moment!
@SNAKERADIOS I did notice her having issues with the egress from the car. She really should practice that in case of emergency. Edit: I also saw the car pulling left. Watch her body english to wish it back to the right. Kinda funny, but in reality, not. Hope the team noticed it pulling too.
She's not going to date you. There's no need for the pathetic white knighting. She proved, on video, that she should not be anywhere near this car at this point. It's going to end up hurting the car more or possibly her.
Love EJ’s enthusiasm. Definitely a hard car as a second step to learn on. Guessing the last run was a drag racer’s version of a whiskey throttle. She’ll be great, hang in there, she’s working with some of the top people to learn from.
Wow! I’m so proud of EJ! Was it a lil sketchy? Yes , there were some concerns from start about wheelies and the oil pan so no surprise that it failed! But I have every bit of faith that EJ can tame this Demon once they sort out the pan clearance and get the tune and suspension dialed in!
They knew the steering was sketchy too. Little surprised they put someone so inexperienced in a car with this much power and zero testing. But she handled it like a Pro. E.J. is quite the young lady. Very impressed. If she survives all this sketchiness, wouldn't be surprised if she ends up being REALLY good at this. Seems to be a sponge.

Hard to tell from the camera but EJ looks pretty straight legged in the car and almost falls off the throttle when the car leaves. Good Job guys enjoying the Gasser and AFX projects!

Now it drags the rear bumper... You handled that car very well.. couple easy passes and feel out the car.. time for a low-profile oil pan!!!! Maybe some suspension stops?
EJ, you're looking better and better, it's awesome to watch you grow in this sport, and now that Alex is going into land speed racing, someone's going to have to take over... Awesome job!
To say I'm amazed by her ability to handle all these new experiences isn't strong enough. The difference in personality when she's not around the boss is interesting. Very open and great on camera when at the track. Nervous and won't talk much when around Tom. What's that all about?🤪
Need to take out timing on the launch, or a higher stall converter, start in second gear, chassis adjustments. You guys are saying not enough experience but this is how you get it. This is a fresh car and it needs to get some adjustments made to stop the wheelie. George had the same problem with this Blazer, time after time after time, and he had a lot of experience. One other thing that I think I noticed is the seat position in relation to the gas pedal. Looks to me like the seat needs to be moved an inch or two forward to have better control over the gas pedal. Look like you were having to "reach" for it a little bit. I'm not going to blame EJ as much as it's a new car and they need to make suspension adjustments, shocked adjustments, timing and other adjustments to pull some power out on the launch. EJ, great video. Obviously you're having fun. 👍

Wheelies are fun, landing, not so much. My first one took out both lower control arms and the pan. Doing good EJ, love the smile.
Those were some rockin' wheelies, EJ. Bummer about the oil pan & steering tho.. Love your attitude; you're gonna be big time! And dang, you can easily sell Sick The Mag as good as ol' wazzizname lol😁
Great job EJ love seeing women kick ass in drag racing and especially from Michigan I live in Caro Michigan so I’ll need to come watch you guys sometime
Hahahah😂 that wheelie reaction! Whatta cutie 😂😂
EJ did awesome! I think it needs to have the front end raised to give it more travel to help deal the wheels up! If it was me I'd put wheelie bars on the car! Have fun EJ
The smile on EJs face after the 1st wheelie run was priceless!
I feel emotionally invested in EJ's journey. And this was just testing. I predict many wins in this young lady's future.
Just saw this video will be subscribing to the magazine. I have a 15-year-old daughter ! You are a good woman and a good role model for the youth
EJ wheeled that thing like a champ. Stoked to see how she does at Roadkill Nights.
Uh, not even close. She did what you aren't supposed to do. That's not wheeling it like a champ.
@@saleenmav Go ahead, enlighten me. First time she ever experienced a wheelie, and she tried to pedal it and let it down as softly as possible. She looked confident and controlled driving the car.
You guys need to weld bump stops on the bottom of the frame, they'll hit the track before the oil pan will. EJ did a fine job considering all the new challenges with the car. It's good to see another generation appreciating speed
I had UHMW blocks bolted to the cross member and frame., Saved a lot of grief and parts.
@riverdragonmarineservice441 I bet. I had titanium blocks bolted to my k member never hit anything important on the track
