- Shadowheart and Lae'zel's constant bickering has finally reached a crisis point over the stolen Githyanki relic, with a high potential of breaking out in violence. Will you side with Shadowheart who wants to keep the relic to protect the party and bring it to Shar, or Laezel who wants to return it to her people? Choosing either of these options will result in one of your companions' death. Or will you successfully negotiate a peaceful outcome that results in Shadowheart and Lae'zel overcoming their differences and disagreement?

i love that when you choose to persuade shadowheart to not kill laezel she’s actually very civil about it and offers laezel friendship instead
Yeah that's my preferred choice
I didn’t even get the option to stop Shadowheart, all it said was “Continue” and she stabbed Lae’zel, lol. Now I know that was glitch and I’m gonna have to reload.
Yeah that's a bug I've seen quite a bit in the game unfortunately. When you get that "Continue" button, you're not seeing all the dialogue options that are available and are instead just selecting the top option. Thus I often reload when this happens, as you don't know what you missed.
@@PraetorianHiJynxRIP when playing on a single save file
Bro turn himself into Kratos🗿.
I actually tried to make my character look as much like me as possible. I've got a long black beard, a bald head, and I lift heavy weights regularly. No one says that I look like Kratos, but I do frequently get told that I look like a Viking lol
I got a different outcome. I failed my persuasion check, but Lae'zel was successful in getting Shadowheart off her. The narrator then said that the fight could no longer be solved peacefully and that I need to side with one of them. It might have been because I romanced Lae'zel and had high approval with her and Shadowheart
I got this result too - but I turned them both down in favour of Karlach.
I sided with Shadowheart, but Laezel wouldn't speak to me when I tried to speak with dead. Didn't realise I needed to cast disguise self first. When I tried it later, it said "this corpse can no longer speak" :(
@@sgste i knocked her down with non lethal damage and she left the camp, i wish i could still find her
Yeah its pretty dog shit that if you miss a single skill check ope sorry one of your party memeberes HAS to die now. Fucking stupid
Oh no i accidentally cast grease on you ladies .......😅
Lol
Yeaaaaaaa
Oops...
😂😂😂😂😂 I choked
Watching this because I chose to attack Shadowheart, but the game bugged and the fight never happened. I talked to both of them and they each talked like they killed the other
Oh wow, that's a weird bug
@PraetorianHiJynx It is indeed, lol. There are quite a few people posting about it online, too. Not much you can do to avoid it, so the only options you have that still make sense are A) save scum and convince Shadowheart to back down, or B) side with one of them against the other, then kill the one you sided against manually. Personally, I killed Shadowheart, then had Karlach put her corpse in a barrel and throw it off a cliff so it wouldn't stay at the camp for the rest of the game. Very messed up, but I had to make do, lol
Damn, that's cold-blooded lol. Do you happen to be playing as a Dragonborn?
@PraetorianHiJynx No 👀 Just was not very fond of her after she tried to slit Lae'zel's throat in her sleep, lol. Especially after she came up with an excuse so we wouldn't know it was personal. She's the cold-blooded one if you ask me, lol. She had to go 😔
I got the same bug
What was crazy to me was this exchange is framed like lae'zel just now realized we have the artifact or that it's githyanki. Yet, as I had been playing it was talked about, and recognized, and every night Shadowheart stood around playing with it prior to it. Just another remnant of the EA plot I guess.
In my playthrough she recognizes it the first time Shart uses it and they discuss about it. In the next long rest this scene starts.
Gale cosplaying Micah Bell got me
Weird, i never got this scene. I always bring them both in the party.
If you don't do long rests often enough you'll miss some of the scenes.
It happened after meeting the other Githyanki by the mountain pass who are looking for the artifact & u do a long rest.
I had them both in my party, too
It happened a little sooner with me. I set camp after fighting Flind and her gnols.
I ... accidentally ... took the relic from Shadowheart's inventory, and I can't give it back. 😅
I don't know if that'll affect the story at all.
If you take Shadowheart out of your active party, I believe the game automatically gives the artifact to you since you'll need it on your persons for certain scenes. This doesn't affect the story though, the game just pretends that Shadowheart always has it on her lol. You'll even see her playing with it in camp, even though it's in your inventory :D
Thanks, I was a little worried that I'd borked my run. @@PraetorianHiJynx
It just makes this dumb fight even more dumb
On my second run now, and this scene didn't played, am discovering it now though random recomendations, lol. In both of the runs these two seemed to get along just fine, in the first one even they were constantly in the party, and despite some minor sassy coments, were happy enough to go along.
That's interesting, I wonder why it was different.
It would've been fine had Shadowheart not tried to kill Lae'zel in her sleep. It was a cowardly thing to do & she had to go.
Certainly wasn't the honorable method, but makes sense for a more roguish type of character. She knew she couldn't defeat Lae'zel in a legit fight.
I never got this scene but at a certain. Point Shadowheart just came to me giving apologies for what she did to Lae'zel, and Lae'zel was still in my party and never mentioned it at all
Perhaps you didn't do enough long rests in act 1.
I have no idea what I did or didn’t do to cause this conflict to not occur, but I didn’t see this in my playthrough.
You might not have done enough long rests, or not done them at the right moments. You'll be surprised how much content you miss if you don't constantly long rest, which is one of the reasons that additional playthroughs can be so interesting.
@@PraetorianHiJynx I hate that, the game basically punishes you for being good. I long rested maybe 3 times in act 1 and all I got was the celebration party and guardian scenes.
Anyone knows what happens if one of them gets knocked out, or one gets killed while you sided with them?
My party did this, the one that gets knocked out is removed from camp and the journal says that that character is dead, we truly got the bad ending :(
@@deathbypanda0221Looks like the items are gone with the body ☹️
When you have to fight shadowheart, can you kill lazel and shadowheart at the same time with a spell? What happens?
worst kill i ever seen in a game time 1:40
1st she slashes her throuat and just to be safe she stabs the blade in it again hmmm nice npcs in my camp LOL
happy i got it right when this happened(but i was a bit intrested to see them fight though!
This is why this game is as good as it is!
Thanks
Yeah there's so many interesting alternate ways that the story can develop, that it's fun to see them all.
How does kiilinh shadowhart effect act 2 with freeing nights on?
I'm not sure, as I never killed her in a full playthrough.
Can you resurrect either of them after the fight?
nope
No, you can't resurrect characters if they die in the story.
Aye! How do i activate this scene?
what raze you are ?
I'm a human, the red scales are because I'm a Draconic Bloodline Sorcerer
@1:13 that cutscene, if you hide all cloths is HILARIOUS :D
Wow this fight is dumb as hell
Whe saw here the solution to or problems.
Chara dies, worms are leaving.
In addition have whe a Skeleton, that can ressurect people.
Lets kill each other and ask him to bring us back.
Story is finished than for us (until the absolut is showing up, but that is a problem for some high Ranking adavntures, like the heroes of Elturel^^)
Murdering shadowheart is morally right decision in any possible scenario.
Lol, what's with all the hate for Shadowheart
Yeah I wouldn't trust her after this. Continuing the argument in the morning is one thing but coming at one of our companions in their sleep? Nah you gotta go.
I'd say resolving it with both alive is morally right
@@animegamergeek1427 only because you happen to wake up, shadowheart is a lying murderer otherwise.
@@jelloistasty everyone has their flaws & she was on a dark path, but she gets over it. It's still better to resolve it with both alive.
I don't know what she was lying about, tho.
