Same as thinking of Target, McDonalds, Nike etc. Many people listed she's "a bitch," "abrasive," "talks over people," is she not that SAME person CONSISTENTLY? Well that's her identifiable BRAND :). You may not like or agree with it but that's the "brand" that she "sells." Brands can be people and not just commodities.

WOW! This is a perfect example of how you have to see and hear the whole story before formulating an opinion. I first watched the second clip of this interview and based on the second part, I initially thought that Omarosa was attacking Bethenny - BUT after watching this clip, I actually side with Omarosa. She called Bethenny on her shit and even brought proof. I can't help but give Omarosa her props for that. Love her or hate her, she is who she is and does not apologize for it.
"Walk in your truth Bethany" and admit when you're wrong - all she had to do was apologize for saying what she said on the view and they would have moved on. Omarosa is a strong black women. I myself am a black women a few years older than Omarosa and I can relate totally to what she expressed to Bethenny. As an African American women, I had to work extremely hard and go over and beyond to get anything that I have gotten in thus far in life. Bethenny will never understand that because she is not first judged because she is a black women who happens to be educated. We as African Amercian women are always preceived as being defensive when we have an opinion or challenge anyone of another race. Betheny told Omarosa that she was being defensive, while in fact Bethenny herself was being the defensive one. Omarosa was very calm and composed throughout the entire interview. I hate when white women say that. They really have no ideas what a strong black women who really wants something in life has to go through to get anything. Bethenny was READ like one of the best selling novals that she so freely bringing up in the presence of Omarosa. Omarosa you go girl!!! I may need to call you to take some lessons on staying calm when I myself are confronted with white women and other women who are jealous of what I have to say.

I don't think Omarosa is representing her brand of promoting intelligence or being smart, Everythime I see her, she's represents a person who never wants to listen but always wants to be heard. Throughout these two clips, all Omarosa does is interrupt the host and talk over the host. Unfortunately it's a technique that black people learn very early when dealing with other verbal bullies. Even after she won 10,000, she still wouldn't let the host talk. In real life you can always talk over someone but being a host, you have to remain cool at all times and never get into a shouting match with your guest.
At the end of the day though, Omarosa was right and Bethany was wrong. End of story

There is two problems here. 1. Omorosa definitely does not know how to present here argument. She is 100% correct on her assertions, but her defensiveness and assertiveness is too aggressive. 2. The audience and those whom are not of color, in these comments and otherwise, are so quick to dismiss the notion that your skin color does grant you a privilege, when it does. There is no if, and, or but about that. However, it is something as a Black male that I am aware of, but I don't internalize it and let it affect me in any way. I have always believed that because I am Black and gay I have to work three times as hard as my Caucasian counterpart. However, I'm am not dismayed in anyway by that because when I am finally awarded or promoted I will know I am beyond capable of doing the job or deserving the honor.
As human beings we have to learn to be empathetic to others situations. You don't have to be nailed to a cross to understand what Jesus went trhough and the same can be said for race relations. I'm not asking you to assume the responsibility of a racist, but know that it is still alive and well. I’m impressed by how Omarosa handled herself, and controlled both the “host” and the audience on this clip of the “show” she was on. Yes, women can be mediocre, and even subpar, as long as they are caucasian. The “host” did not understand that the term “brand” does not simply denote an actual business; it also entails an ability to generate mass interest (and thusly generate money for oneself) based on the allure of the image one has created for themself….whether it be positive or negative
