Yo, i tried to build a Niv deck in my seal pool and it was so much fun. I totally won only 1 game but i loved it. It was a bad decision but a fun one for sure.

My qualifier felt so bad. Bomb-heavy U/B and lost to flood both games. Only got 6 rares in all my sealed pools since the format dropped. Feels bad man.
Normal Magic variance. That's why it is dunb to pay 4000 gems for a sealed where you are out when you lose 2. Hugely luck dependent, no matter how good your deck is
I feel you, I had an incredibly good looking UW tempo deck. Lost one game after having my opponent at 1hp with myself at 42 with approximately 10 cards that could give me lethal. Instead 9 lands and a thraben inspector were the draws. Lost another game keeping a 2 lander on the draw (with a lot of 2 drops) and being stuck on 2 lands for seven turns. Embarassing.
Thought for sure is was about to be an 0-3 😂 super happy for you Kenji
I’m thinking given the way boros is going to be so contested in this format, making those multi-color green decks are going to be a very good option in the more high stakes draft like Arena Open.

I took your advice to heart and and did a sealed in which I opened 2 Aurelia's Vindicator, 2 code breakers, a Kaya, RB and RW duals. Pretty easy 7 wins. (Normal sealed, not the qualifier)

Went bant good stuff, with great fixing between 2 gardeners and 2 of those enchant lands that remove a non land permanent and 2 topiary panthers

I’m my limited experience in BO1 it seems white / X has been the best archetype. I had an inset deck that went 7-2 but all my other decks were 3-5 wins unless w/g or w/b or some variation of white. Tough. Havnt had much luck with Boris myself tho.
did that first opponent unironically splash soul search? I wouldve been so salty losing to somebody who plays boros and splashes a B/W card that isnt even that good.
With the buzzcrusher, do you have to kill your own land? it says up to 1, I think you could submit 0 for yourself and 1 for the oppo and have kept your blue source in that first game? I could be wrong.
It’s a may, but it’s worth it because blue isn’t very relevant in my deck whereas double black or red is very important
he could have, but nothing in his deck needed the blue

If you got bad rares and you play sealed 5000 gems, it's not stupid at all to play boros. It's obviously funnier when you drafts bombs (and here many removals) but you need luck

Jesus is tried 3 times and got shit rares and pools every time still managed to get 5 wins one time with commons and uncommons but of course got wrecked by mass bombs of others, what a piece of shit set, and the new draft rules with multiple rares is such . They just keep moving away from skill and more towards luck 30 years of playing. They just keep dumbing it down and making the game shittier. Make it stupid for the masses and make it more like Pokémon where its a flip of the coin instead of actual skill. Greed, greed greed has ruined this game.
yep play boosters just took a ton of skill out of limited play. Really only see cubes as the future of mtg. Use old cards to relive what magic was actually about. Not 6/6 flyers for 6 with upside

I am 100% sure that content makers and streamers are rigged on server side, just to advertise and promote this scam gambling piece of shit slot machine game which MtG Arena is. They always have the easiest games I've ever seen so that it looks like everyone can easily win.
I just played qualifier, gathered a dream dimir deck, with 4 BOMBS, and amazing curve. I have played 1-2.
Because my opponents don't concede on the first move.
They PLAY something, and not just DO NOTHING like in most Nummy's games.
They play insane rares, and bombs almost every move.
At the same time I get flooded and flooded and flooded.
This is scam. Don't play magic and never ever pay them a cent of your money.
They are a fucking casino, and casino always wins.
You might not be as good as you think you are. You also might read this comment and get angry. I'm no casino owner but I'd bet on both being true.
I think it looks easy when someone has this level of skill, it’s not limited to just magic. Just because you think your deck is good doesn’t mean it actually is, that’s a common trap too
It's still a casino for wizards. Over all players the winrate averages out at 2-2, so they make 2000 gems which is around 12,50€ per player doing the qualifier. BIG MONEY FOR THEM. You can be the best player and build the best deck and still lose to mana flood/ screw bc of the antiquated land system.
