    My parents were at the match, my father and his brother were on the embankment end but further over on the 'big step'. My mum and auntie were in the Manchester road stand along with my newly born elder sister. They saw the lifeless bodies being passed overhead and laid out on the pitch, but hadn't realised until after they all met up after the game the catastrophe that had occurred.

    Teacher at school lost his friend who went to the game with him.While we are on the subject of Bolton's history I can recall listing to a report from a game at Burden park in the late 70s from Picadilly Radio, the score was 4- 3 against Chelsea and one team had score all the goals, anyone recall which team it was?
