What a lot of people do not suspect about Saxon is that their recent songs are often as much valuables as the great classics of the eighties. This is one of them amongst fantastic songs like Guardians of the Tomb.
In recent years I haven’t listened to much of what Saxon has done. I have to say they’re brilliant and if I may say so, they’re far better now than they were many many years ago.

This album came out in 2009/2010? This was around the time I discovered Saxon at the tender age of 17 and to be fair it's pretty spooky that it's been 15 years since then! Where that 15 years gone I really don't know! It feels like a blur! 😳 That being said, I'm still banging to my head to Saxon and probably will be until my dying days! 🤘

This is to say, since the end of Rush's final tour, LA in August 2015, when the Professor, Mr. Cornelius Ellwood Peart, spanked his last drum, the Crown was finally passed to the glorious Sir Nigel. Amen.
This video would be better cos that video came out over 25 years earlier & is obviously dated (I actually watched it just the other day for the first time in ages) but the actual song Holy Diver is better than this song in my opinion. Total worship for both bands tho \m/ RIP Dio :'(

Saxon is one of a few Classic Metal band that still make great records along with Maiden or W.A.S.P. in my opinion.
