the sog seal xr is the best survival folder of all time, to date, in my opinion. i agree with you Donnie that the xr lock is super strong and always wondered if the triad lock was stronger because i cant imagine anything stronger than the xr lock. sog really made folders strong like fixed blades.
imo 4max is the best survival folder. It has a stronger lock and it can actually slice while still having the crazy thick blade. My SOG Seal xr can barely cut through cardboard. Also triad lock > any crossbar lock. The force from an impact can send the crossbar lock backwards and unlock it, but crossbar lock is more convenient and is strong enough.
They seem to be reasonable value blades. One of my fav blades is a SOG Seal 2000. Bought it in Australia in Jan 2000 for $350 Australian dollars. Been a faithful hunting companion for decades. 🇺🇸 🇳🇿
@@DonnieBAllDay Ah ok that makes sense. I’ve been thinking about getting one and seeing how it works without the assist myself. If i don’t like it i can always put it back.
@@DonnieBAllDayHey what’s up Donny B! My names Ben btw. anyway i hope you’re having a good day so far bud. And i figured I’d show you this vid I found on it that i thought was pretty cool. th-cam.com/video/UviAH3A9EpM/w-d-xo.htmlsi=p7FZectaPtxWFJ5j

I'd come close to agreeing if it didn't have those shit grips

i cant help it i dont like Folders so much, but the one i will recieve you know which one, i will love for the Rest of my life...love you fam
your new folder is a sword. Once you open it you might never close it again! Haha
Purchase a S.O.G. Trident Knife on line.
It'll get the job done
Tactical and stealthy I like it. But to be honest with you I am not a huge pocketknife person per say, but I like it anyway.
Pocket knives simplify knife carry
@@DonnieBAllDay That's is for sure. I just can't find any I like these days.
Just take out the assist.
I have to review it as is since thats what people are buying. Owning it, I could do whatever I want
