Thank you for this great video. I wish to know other than going by train, is there any public bus going to Papar from KK? And what are the places of interest around the centre of Papar (within walking distance) ?
You're welcome! Yes, there are public buses available from KK to Papar. You can catch them at the bus terminal in KK. As for places of interest within walking distance in the center of Papar, you can explore the local market, visit the historical Papar Clock Tower, and enjoy the scenic views along the Papar River. There are also various shops, cafes, and eateries where you can experience the local culture and cuisine.
@@jalan_b 2 weeks ago I took train to Papar from Aru Tanjung Stn. The train journey was aweful as the railroad is in bad condition - very bumpy. Fortunately, I am still able to arrive Papar in good shape. The fare is very cheap, only Rm1.75. If I am to visit KK again in the future,I'll try to travel further to Beaufort or Tenom. I had a nice visit in Papar. Jacky Yuen (from Hong Kong)
Hi @@jackyyuen1939 , glad to hear you had a nice visit in Papar. Roads in Sabah can indeed be challenging, but the scenic views make up for it. If you plan to travel further to Beaufort or Tenom next time, brace yourself for a rougher train ride and better view.
