I’m thinking it’s different in high school than college you can have a leg in high school Blaze got behind enough to hook the leg which counts as control

Not really.
You can get control while they have your leg, it's just more difficult.
It's not as clear.

@philipj.sherman2987 False. College has more leeway as to what is a takedown. Remember no reaction time? And ofcourse the ref disagrees. Refs almost NEVER retract their bad calls. They also have more definitive power than they do in college.

Sometimes it doesn't look like a take down, but control has been shown.

It became a takedown because blaze had the leg hooked and Luke let go of his lock on the leg for a second which made the ref call the takedown if he had held onto the leg without breaking his lock i think the ref would not have called a takedown
