Sorry to hear about your dad. I lost my dad when I was young too and I can get emotional sometimes when I see or hear Walt interacting with the girls. It's 50 years on this year but it never totally leaves you. Warm wishes ❤

Not gonna lie the daddy hugs broke me!!!! I miss my father so much! But the hair shenanigans and “prolleeelone” cheese had this old hen clucking!!! And when Ana asked for cheese and you said she had to take a bite of eggs the immediate fish face nope was too much!! Action packed video today. I loved how Ana made the circle and her endearing interaction w Dada. Guini so funny when she turned her back and gobbled the cheese that she was refusing to eat. I will never forget pickles, because Anastasia is my spirit animal! If the twins make it out to the Pacific Northwest. Pike place Market once had a shop that was just all about pickles. They would even give out free pickle juice shots. And it's only a hop, skip and jump to go watch them make cheese at Beecher's, just don't trip on the cobblestone street.
That was so funny, Gwen turned around so nobody could see her put the whole piece of cheese in her mouth after she complained that she could not eat the small torn off piece of cheese. They have reached the bossy and competitive stage, they are so adorable.

But what was concerning was Ana's defensive posturing when Walt walked up to her. I really wonder how Ana is treated when the camera is off.
Re smoke alarm beep, thx for the heads up. I did know but someone might not. 🤗 Years ago, a couple left for an extended vacation. Upon their return, their smoke alarm was beeping just like that. The wife sent the hubs to go fix it. So he went all through the house and replaced the battery that was beeping. Wife told him minutes later that it was still going off. He went back to double check but found it was just a mockingbird that had learned that noise while they were away. True story... it was published in a magazine many, many years ago.
When Guinevere writes her memoirs, the first chapter will include "when I was two years old, we had bad corn". 😂 She is not letting go of that bad corn memory.🌽
The sweetest sight: seeing Dada and Anna hug and kiss one another. I could just feel the love between them. My daddy died when I was 8. Memories like that are a blur for me. It seems some men have trouble showing affection to small children. Not Walt! He is one in a million. It is amazing that the girls know their shapes and colors at this young age. I sent the girls a kit to watch caterpillars change into butterflies.Alicia, you will need to send in the certificate to get the 5 live caterpillars. They stay inside the container the whole time they are forming a cocoon. All their food and water is in the container. You don't open it at all until the cocoons form. I had the kit for my students. They loved it and even an old teacher loved watching the process. Love to the Bartons, party of four!!!
My joy in the morning comes from watching these two precious ones. Hearing them making full sentences is a lot of fun. We have a adorable great-grandson who is turning two in July. He brings us such joy. Thank the Lord for little ones.

Alicia have you tryed crescent rolls with girls yet? Be good way roll up provolone with them with some pepperoni and dip them in pizza sauce or can put provolone on English muffins make some mini pizzas🍕🍕
@jenkinsjenkins8048 Crescent rolls with cheese sounds yummy! I'm not a pepperoni fan, but I think a little bit of broccoli 🥦 & mushrooms🍄 instead (plus onions🧅 for Ana) would be delicious. Like a veggie pizza if you dip it in pizza sauce. 🍕
I use crescent rolls to top my chicken pot pie; it's sweeter than a pie crust, and for me, tastier.🥧
