"fiber" is a marketing term here. There is no fiber in this device. It just another regular wireless access point. They are called wds bridge. Connection is competitively slower , higher ping and with optical fiber you don't need to replace the cable in order to upgrade the link speed in future..just replace both the optical transmitter and receiver on both sides of the connection and you can have as many gigabits you want. With this they will have to replace the whole infrastructure. And you will never get the ping that is required if you are a gamer or more importantly into option trading.
Will AirFiber actually be an issue during trading considering high ping? I don’t have access to Fiber network in my area, man I hardly get 4g network or calling network in my area. There is nothing better than wired , you should be able to get fiber from local oparator or from bsnl or railwire if you live nearby to a railway station.

Jio air fibre is worst. Since my installation, internet is not working. Sales persons are selling product but not lifting calls and technicians saying box which is installed in Terrace is damaged always. No response from customercare. I am waiting from 10 days but issue is not resolved yet. My suggestion, please don’t go with Air fibres at least 6 months . Boxes are failing within 1 or 2 days and it is unable handle network load.

These work on microwaves.
