the last radio broadcast in warsaw was this piece after the liberation of warsaw, their first radio broadcast was this piece played by the same man before the war, wladek
This piece considered one of the Chopin's easiest and at the same time one of his most profound pieces, yet only few can play it... you should be so deeply connected to your own self to make it happen when you are playing it...
AmirTabar not one of chopins easiest works I think polonaises are easier than his nocturnes that’s up to interpretation on what’s easy for me i could still learn this pretty easy but you can’t call a piece easy some people are better at different skills on the piano
To be honest it isn’t a very complex song, I’m sure I could play it except that I can’t do the rapid finger movements needed for the part at 0:30 or other parts later that are the same. I just can’t sadly. But the rest doesn’t look challenging compared to other classical songs
Tears would come down from my face, it's so touching that every note tells the very brutal fighting between a human and a beast!. My daughter played this piece for so many times but I never felt enough. Thanks for sharing.
It's actually really easy and straight forward. Only the runs at the end are tricky, but those can be easily learned with enough practice on those specific segments.
I am always surprised by how hard most people find playing a piece with emotion. When a piece like this is as beautiful as it is, I always find it easy to play it with emotion (I usually play it with too much because of how much I am into the music.) and playing it without the emotion is impossible for me.
The hard parts are the expressions.. The piece is actually meant for students with around 5-7 years of experience.. But I guess if you really want to play it go for it.
Is this 100% correct? I can't read sheet music but I learned the entire thing using this video, can someone confirm? A few variations in the left hand are puzzling me
@Chengtao Fu thanks :) I've actually "learned" (ongoing) sheet music since the comment, and it turns out there are many big variations from the interpretations themselves. The contrast between szpilman and rousseau for example, szpilman particularly adds some notes that aren't there, plays others "wrong" etc. Though I believe I understand better the limits of interpretation now
I just love this piece! I finally found it's name from 'the pianist' and i learned it and it's amazing! It's sad for me cose i have a shitty piano tho :))
Hans Huang That depends on how much time you have, this piece is relatively simple due to the low tempo, but the trillers and sacales may be difficult due to timing and the speed of them. Other than that, I'd say you can if you try. I started playing the piano about one and a half year ago and I really pushed myself with really difficult pieces and I can play a lot of them now
numan ihsan tosyalı brush up on your E major scale. Play it one octave up and down, then two octaves and then three octaves, slowly at first but increase your speed as your technique gets better and you’re not making many mistakes. then instead of starting the scale at E, start and end with the cadenza notes. It’s basically a three octave e major scale that starts at a different note. Good luck!

There was a movie about this. Der pianist. The strggles he went through were shown in that movie. However it was a german solider who helped him.
Woah. That’s really interesting, I didn’t know about it.
Wladyslaw Spielman but he play good Arragment :) ... this is ... bad version ..
Like an elegy but also an aria for a nation.

This should be easy then. Music and myself are intertwined. Music saved me from suicide. I cannot play any music without having some emotion in it
AmirTabar not one of chopins easiest works I think polonaises are easier than his nocturnes that’s up to interpretation on what’s easy for me i could still learn this pretty easy but you can’t call a piece easy some people are better at different skills on the piano
Proud Patriot Difficulty is relative to other pieces, not a form of measurement alone.

@@blackwood5851 they're called trills they're easy to learn. Give it a try
the sound is incredible
I remember how this is the first piece I learned when I could barely play with both hands hahaha it actually took me like 6 months but I did it
4 lessons for me!
Piękno muzyki Fryderyka Chopina to fenomen graniczący z cudem ❤️
Tears would come down from my face, it's so touching that every note tells the very brutal fighting between a human and a beast!. My daughter played this piece for so many times but I never felt enough. Thanks for sharing.
never felt such a incredible sadness through few fairly simple notes.
favorite nocturne
One of my favorite Chopin piano music. Thank you very much for sharing. It seems that it is pretty difficult to play for beginners.
It's actually really easy and straight forward. Only the runs at the end are tricky, but those can be easily learned with enough practice on those specific segments.
the piece is in fact simple but projecting one's emotion through this piece may be considered difficult
kevin chirayath
Aka pressing a note with the right force at the right moment
Ain’t really that hard
I am always surprised by how hard most people find playing a piece with emotion. This piece is one of the reasons why C# minor is my favorite key.
is this played in '*The Pianist* movie?
Ulaş Albatu yeah
It was a very explosive piece in the pianist
Ulaş Albatu it's also played in a anime "Your lie in April"
Ulaş Albatu no, the piece played there is called ballade no 1 but it was also written by chopin
Vladislav Koshelev nocturne C sharp minor was still played in the movie
Chopin is the best ,insuperable
This has to be coincidence, I literally just finished learning this piece fluently .-.
Gameplays Daily XD me too
Gameplays Daily omg me too haha
How long did it take you?
You a Bitchhh Hmm, 2-3 months?
do you have a nice piano to play on? I would hate it if talent would be wasted by playing on a plastic piece of crap keyboard.
This is my favourite piece by Chopin. It heals the deepest depths of my soul.

Porgevo sempre l'altra guancia
Mentre aspettavo la campana a scuola
Chiuso dentro a un cesso
Coi conati e il Depakin in tasca
Compagnia di pazzi con le scarpe sporche
E con i buchi nelle tute
Doppie facce come prismi
Che vedevi meglio messi in controluce
Un macello di problemi
Sembrava che ci andassi a caccia
La delusione vista in uno specchio
Giuro, aveva la mia stessa faccia
Tu non sai che cosa ho visto
I miei andare in tribunale
Ore in quel conservatorio
'Sto piano l'ho suonato io
Perché non riesco a stare senza
Gli esami frate non li ho dati
Nemmeno quello di coscienza
L'anno scorso stavo male
Ho chiuso il disco in ospedale
Ci stavo rimanendo potevo curarmi meglio
Tanto è da buttare
In Cristo non ci ho mai creduto
Dico grazie a me se ho preso il treno in corsa
'Sto disco nuovo non l'ho chiuso
Ce l'avevo scritto in testa come Mozart
Mi ero scordato come ridere
Vorrei insegnargli come vivere
Sai mi spiace fino a adesso

Is this piece considered one of chopins more easy one? I've only been playing for 6 months and I wanna I've only learned Beethoven so far
I'd say go for it! I think the trickiest parts for beginners are the runs, everything else should be pretty straightforward.
The hard parts are the expressions.. The piece is actually meant for students with around 5-7 years of experience.. But I guess if you really want to play it go for it.

Is the left hand at 2:56 wrong or just a variation of the sheet music? My sheet plays something different.
IT REALLY CALMS MY MIND AFTER ITS HARD DAY WORK AND STRESSFUL LIFE , THINK OF GOD , JESUS I TRUST IN YOU
Beautiful !
My favorite nocturne. I am working n this and I am halfway in 5 days. I need tips for how to do those really fast scales in the end.
repetitive practice
Play them slowly until you hit all the notes at your own pace and then keep going faster without mistakes until you hit the right notes.
My Favorite 😍
Is it supposed to be F# or D# in the left hand at 0:39? I've heard both played and I'm never quite sure.
Cobalt314 I know, right? Just stick with the one you prefer
The sheet music I downloaded says d# but f# sounds better to me. So glad somebody else also picked this up!!!!!!
some said f# but some said d#
I would prefer the F# and then D# to me it sounds good that way
I just love this piece! I finally found it's name from 'the pianist' and i learned it and it's amazing! It's sad for me cose i have a shitty piano tho :))
