Smith been good over the years but soon he’s in a big fight with a big name he seems to go to pot he hits hard enough to hurt the big boys in the division but never dose.He can win every other fight soon as a big fight comes he don’t show up.
@@alexbelotti5964 yeah did you read my comment or are you blind I basically said that he mentally can’t fight well against the big names he was dreadful against canelo threw noting he won’t beat no big names.
@@johnve8327I guess it's easy to digest if you know you don't have it anymore...which George didn't either mentally or physically. Respect Smith though, he has 10/10 belief in himself. It seems.
@@Glasschin2.0age is relative in this sport. What age did Groves turnover? What can certainly be said is that Groves wasn’t in his prime when he fought Smith. But Smith still did a job. A very good fighter himself. Probably too big for Groves at any stage.
@ doesn’t matter he had a short 10 year career and only had 32 fights. Age and prime aren’t the same thing but as a general rule super middle weights are in their primes years in their late 20s/ early 30s. He was arguably too young when he stepped up to fight Froch 5 years before.
@ I don’t think he was in that many wars but agree to disagree. In my opinion when Callum beat him , he was arguably the best supermiddle weight in the world. James DeGale who was world champion at the time was in a lot more wars and had mileage on the clock, plus multiple injuries. His fight with Jack was a lot more gruesome that Groves one.
Groves was spent when he fought Smith. I heard went in with a bad shoulder injury for a nice payday (last fight). Groves would have destroyed smith in his peak.
@@JD-re3cj Ryder gave everyone a hard night didnt he tough opponent an underrated but I dont think that was the best callum I think he would beat him easier on another night just how I see it
On paper he is. But Willy would beat Callum. Buatsi will 1000% beat Callum. Seen Callum v Ryder live and he lost that fight but got giving the decision. Since then hes literally looked terrible hasn’t beat anyone with a credible name since then either and that was many years back now. His time is up in the sport and the buatsi fight will show that.
He beat George.. fair enough.. and I believe he had a controversial win over the smaller John Ryder. Other than that, who's he beat? There aren't many known fighters on his 32 fight record. As for Buatsi, he's been around for what feels like quite a long time.. but only had 19 pro fights.. and not exactly elite level opposition. Never been impressed with Callum. I just don't really rate him. On what I've seen of them, I'm taking Josh to win on points. Josh is a really tough kid. If you need eviudence of that, watch his fight against Calic. Calic really put it on Biuatsi.. and Buatsi didn't flinch!! It was impressive 🥊
Callum Smith will turn up for this fight the best version of himself, and that will be like a rabbit frozen stiff in shining headlights .🤣🤣🤣 I will never forget watching Callum Smith vs. Canelo. He will perform actually the same in this fight against Buatsi.
This is tons better than Froch's channel 🏆

You do know his only losses come to fighters who are currently in the top 5 P4P rankings? Literally only lost to the best in the world.

Your looking good George
I wonder, privately, how you feel about losing to Callum. He's a solid fighter but surely you would have beaten him comfortably in your prime...
What a p£nis rider
I know what you mean, however, Groves was injured…
Groves was no where near good enough you don't no what your on about 🥊🥊

Un weight drained smith at super middle was horrible
I hope smith wins 🥊🥊🥊
Callum vs yarde when is it happening or isn't it!
Prime Groves would have smashed this guy. I think the win over you and an undefeated record massive over hyped Smith.
Groves was only 29 , he was hardly over the hill.

U don’t no boxing smiths only lost to legends smith by ko 4 or 5

Wouldn’t surprise me but Buatsi isn’t untouchable either, he completely avoided Bivol, at least Smith didn’t avoid Canelo or Beterbiev
