I call this song “the best REO song no one’s ever heard” lol I have to give you the biggest Thanks. It’s always my first REO recommendation for years now and so far I’ve never seen anyone react to it. Until now. Now you have given me a gift. I had never heard this live version before WOW.🤯 It’s a deep cut because they have got a lot of Hits.
Waaaaay back in 1982 we used the title "Time for Me to Fly" as our senior class motto. Certainly fitting. This album was the bomb in1982! Thanks for the memories :-)
Dave Amato has been their lead guitarist for a long time, but Gary Richrath is the guitarist I listened to from 1970 to 1989. He left in 1989, but sadly passed in September of 2015. REO has been a big part of my life and in my top 10 favorite bands.
Love it. What a great album. I'm glad you caught the irony in the album title with the image. But I also like the interpretation of hey man we're going to catch that fish one way or the other with our music!
One of the best escalating rock songs ever produced. As La said, when the drums came in ... And a great rock song, period. We loved singing along to this one back in the day. Especially the last part.
Yup. The music that's been called 'country' for the last few decades has been so watered down, it's unrecognizable. I like some of the real old-time country artists like Hank Williams, Patsy Cline, Loretta Lynn, Tammy Wynette, and Johnny Cash.
The lip-dub video of "Roll With The Changes" is the best way to react to the song. You'll appreciate it much more by checking out Kevin Cronin on vocals and keyboard, Gary Richrath on lead guitar and Neal Doughty also on keyboard.
I always was a big fan of Kevin's phrasing and delivery. Saw the live a couple of times; they were great showmen. What a fabulous time to grow up in. One more thing for millennials to envy us for! I'm not going to mention how much we paid for tickets. By the way it's an old dad joke: What's the difference between a fish and a piano?
Yep remember this one when it hit the airwaves… I was feeling the pain and frustration of the lyrics… Lived it, guys y’all are bringing it More SKYNYRD Please 👍👍
Hi- Infidelity (Album) was their creative peak. No doubt they set the tone for the power ballads of the 80s One of my first vinyls from back in the day. love every song. The range of songs and another singer for one song will blow your mind.
You guys should really do a reaction to James Gang “Live at Carnegie Hall” 1971. It is right up your alley man! You’ll enjoy the shit out of it I promise!!
When I was stationed overseas in the military (3 times), we would go to all the clubs on our last night in country (like we did every night) and request this song. We would sing along with all our might. We would party like it was 1999 !!! Good times. Lol
One of my favorites by REO Speedwagon. Catchy album title...You can tune a piano but you can't Tuna fish. Love it! Would you consider giving a listen to Lee Michaels "do you know what I mean". Thanks guys!
Definitely in the running for the all time best album title! This group was instrumental (excuse the pun) during the 80's music era. I've come to really appreciate the decade of the 80's more and more as I watch all these reactions. I was in my 20's during that time and probably took it a little for granted. Not anymore!
I first heard this album in the Navy in A school 1978🎉 San Diego. Great reaction guys lotta great music from this band keep spreading the music around.
This is one of the coolest break up tunes of all time!
REO Speedwagon is not in the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame. Shameful!
That's why it's the rock and roll hall of shame
No way WOW
R&R HOF is a joke.
They should’ve made a “rap” album….
They are too busy putting in non-rock ‘n’ roll acts👎🏻
This song instantly transports me back to 1978, my freshman year in college 😀
For me it was Jr high school. Those were great times.
Me too...
Open the REO Speedwagon catalog!
Roll With The Changes Live! Must listen to!
And back on the road again 🤘
RIP Gary Richrath. underrated guitarist 👍👍
This album came out in 1978. Written and recorded in the 70's. No synths. The mixing was tape recorded over on itself.
It's the pain, he relates. He wants a relationship. She wants to play head games. Life is to short for head games. I feel him.
Thank you. During this era…We All Owned This Album!
I call this song “the best REO song no one’s ever heard” lol
I have to give you the biggest Thanks. It’s always my first REO recommendation for years now and so far I’ve never seen anyone react to it. Until now.
Now you have given me a gift. I had never heard this live version before WOW.🤯
It’s a deep cut because they have got a lot of Hits.
One of the best pop rock bands in the 70’s
There were so many good bands and singers of all types back then.
Roll With the Changes!!
Waaaaay back in 1982 we used the title "Time for Me to Fly" as our senior class motto. Certainly fitting. This album was the bomb in1982! Thanks for the memories :-)

Richrath makes any song rock, always loved his stuff.
This song takes me directly back to the first kisses and beaches and Camaro vs Nova!
It's been a minute!
Dave Amato has been their lead guitarist for a long time, but Gary Richrath is the guitarist I listened to from 1970 to 1989. He left in 1989, but sadly passed in September of 2015. REO has been a big part of my life and in my top 10 favorite bands.
Best breakup song ever. Even makes it sound kickass.

Love it. What a great album. I'm glad you caught the irony in the album title with the image. But I also like the interpretation of hey man we're going to catch that fish one way or the other with our music!
I saw them at Kings Island way back when.
When this song and album came out.... the girls were just eating this up. Miss those days.
One of the best breakup songs of the era! I lived it. ❤
This whole album was on replay in our house. Good memories of all ofus singing along together. 😊
Great song!! Excellent reaction, fellas !❤😊👏
Saw them in concert FINALLY in 1996, after always wanting to...and it was one of the most impressive and FUN concerts I have ever been to.
When I saw the title, I didn't recognize it. But as soon as the singer started, it brought back the memories. A very moving song. Love it!
yes, it’s a great one!
My Favorite from these guys.
My number 2 all time favorite song! Many great memories associated with this song.
One of the best escalating rock songs ever produced.
As La said, when the drums came in ...
And a great rock song, period.
We loved singing along to this one back in the day. Especially the last part.
Junior in high school when this came out,saw them in concert same year 😊
R E O - Rock Energy Overload
Another one of the most underrated bands of all time! Huge success in the early and mid 80s but I love their entire 70s catalog!
Sounds like a current "Country" music song...that's why I call today's country, diet Rock
Yup. The music that's been called 'country' for the last few decades has been so watered down, it's unrecognizable. I like some of the real old-time country artists like Hank Williams, Patsy Cline, Loretta Lynn, Tammy Wynette, and Johnny Cash.
Good one. I'd like a diet rock with my McMusic, to go please.
Kinda, yes.....🎶 🎵
Keep Pushin' Boys!
You Can Tune a Piano but You Can't Tuna Fish....
But you can play the Scales!
I saw them live about 7 or so yrs ago…they were just as good as they were in the 70s!
Thanks guys!
This was our class song in 1980
Greetings from the Great White North 🇨🇦 One of my favourite album covers of all time!
The lip-dub video of "Roll With The Changes" is the best way to react to the song. You'll appreciate it much more by checking out Kevin Cronin on vocals and keyboard, Gary Richrath on lead guitar and Neal Doughty also on keyboard.
Always loved the iterations of guitar tone that evolve as the song goes on
They had a rockin' song called, Don't Let Him Go.
REO has been a favorite since the 80's for me! "Roll with the changes" LIVE from the 1980's is my favorite :)
1978
One of my favorites.
Golden Country, live version. Richrath kicks ass
Great reaction gentleman this brings back some sad and happy memories. Keep up the great job La/Che

Definitely a 80’s rock ballad
You guys should really do a reaction to James Gang “Live at Carnegie Hall” 1971. It is right up your alley man! You’ll enjoy the shit out of it I promise!!
Saw this band way back.
This is the best driving song ever. Except with that chorus, I want the car to FLY too! 😁✌️
When I was stationed overseas in the military (3 times), we would go to all the clubs on our last night in country (like we did every night) and request this song. We would sing along with all our might. We would party like it was 1999 !!! Good times. Lol
Give "Roll with the Changes" a listen. A banger!
Didn't they already react to that?
Kevin Cronin has that voice that when u hear u absolutely know it's REO Speedwagon
You guys are always on the money
We had some random dude stick his head in our car to listen to this song. It was cranked up on a decent stereo system - this was about 1981 btw!
The Wagon....great band
Their album " High Infidelity " is truly one of the greatest albums...
Love your Kings gear! I live in Sacramento!
Golden Country, please- early REO is so good.
Really like this sad song, thanks guys.
Kevin Cronin on vocals. Gary Richrath on lead guitar.
We are lovin the lyrics too!
Very laid back REO song..

I will never understand how this song was picked to be my 8th grade graduation song, probably because it was the most popular that year🫤🤔
Take it on the Run
You might want to check out Say You Love Me Or Say Goodnight from this same album.
the greatest breakup song ever
Back on the Road Again
Talk about a feel good breakup song. The harmonies were off the chain.
I first heard this album in the Navy in A school 1978🎉 San Diego. Great reaction guys lotta great music from this band keep spreading the music around.
Be cool to react to REO “Riding The Storm Out” the live version 😅
I hear this and my mind immediately goes to "Ozark."
Until I was adult I always thought he was saying "enough of the jealousy and the ENTIRE DURATION."
Me: "What's an 'intahburation'?" (disclaimer: I've mis-heard many lyrics - since childhood).

Back On The Road Again
Hey guys check out Ridin' the Storm Out from the live album You Get What You Play For!!
BTW you probably recognized Kevin's voice from hearing "Heard it from a friend" sampled in a Rap song
this song helped me to get out of a very bad relationship
The album title gave people fits in the 70's...
Don’t let him go
It absolutely sounds, 70’s.
