He says ; what is this Ishq'- what is its name- It is not embodied- Since it does not have a body, it has as well no shadows and soars in the skies without form to meet its Beloved. He , then further adds some very bold lines- almost hard on hard cores yet true : Rehmano ! Yus chui Kaabuss Menz Suha chui karith paanei panuss sanz Namii kour kun- qeble chuss shunn tarfann If we want to understand life and live it purposefully, we must know that our true self awareness (consciousness) is a modulation of our soul . Our soul is by the command of Allah and the two are connected like the sun and its rays. Soul cannot be separated from its Creator. The Nafs or awareness of the soul in us, has been perfected by Allah and has been inspired to discern good from bad (see Sura Shamas) and Allah commands us to go by what our self awareness tells us and not what is dictated by the worldly concerns. Our mystics are always reminding us through their poetry to know the self in us and learn to access it, talk to it and draw inspiration from it to live purposefully. Kashmiri mystic poets are possibly among the bests who have clearly given this message of " know thyself".

Now a days we have sufi music's nd sufi singers available like patotoes 'and onions available in the market.but we don't have the sufi's like we used to have...! Singers sing for money 'anand we hear to entertain and to show off everything is soulless
