I like how lanky the "teenage" wolves look. It made me wonder if it would be possible to have adult wolves look less fluffy in the summer, and more fluffy in winter like real wolves. Even cooler if we could watch our winter coat blow out in tufts here and there during spring. Wolves can look really scraggly around that time and it would be fun to see your character go through those seasonal changes. Haha.
This game has honestly been life changing. I never realized that in the saga rival packs would move in and out as the years went by. That’s such a cool and realistic feature, I’m so excited for it to be released! Also, I can’t wait for Hellroaring Mountain! Hellroaring Pack is one of my favorite historical Yellowstone packs!

Given that the shown map we got here has Tower Fall on it literally right outside the south bordering of Hellroaring Mountain range, not unlikely it won't still be continued. Their focus right now is Saga, so an area between the maps (Lost River is it's own world)

I started playing wolfquest when I was 13. Now at 20, you guys are announcing this. I’m crying. I’m so excited, I’m so proud of you guys! I was always so upset that when the pups got to the rondevouz site the game was practically over. Thank you guys so much for your extremely hard work.
This is really cool I think the fact the pups can choose if they wanna stay with you is the best part as it allows you to form stronger bonds with you’re pack and you get to see the personality of the pup clearly. Very excited .
I know the full saga is still a long ways off, but seeing how far along it is, i'm so excited! The whole wolfquest team is so amazing, and thank you so much for keeping us all updated on the development progress. I love the idea of dynamic packs as well, and also finally seeing the pups in action during a hunt, i just.. it's so exciting! I'm excited and i can't wait! Of course, no rush. I havent been here for very long. Only since January, and since then i've been in love with this game. Watching all the dev blogs was even in interest! From the way it started, to the amazing , loyal community it built even before the game even launched. Many people who have been with the game since the start, still are here and that just shows how much the community is devoted and undyingly loyal. The game they built now has a bright future ahead, as long as you guys dont randomly quit with our money! ( Really doubt that since you guys have come so far with such an amazing community) and I look forward to the saga. Thank you guys for devoting yourself into a realism based simulation game thats not too realistic to the point its gross or not fun anymore, and creating the perfect balance of failure and success.

When I first started playong wolf quest all I could think abt was the future of it. I always had this exact idea that the game could be more like a actual wolf pack raising your pups from pups to adult wolfs! So glad that my dream is true and this is so amazing! 😊❤🎉

I am so so excited for the persistent/dynamic rival packs!!!! That honestly sounds like it'll be fascinating... Hellroaring Mountain looks and sound amazing, too. After Tower Fall, I'm absolutely in love with the idea of more DLC maps, especially ones that are 8 by 8 km. I don't know what it is, but that little bit of extra room really makes the map feel endless! If you guys are looking to make more DLC maps, though, have you ever considered making a DLC of Voyageurs National Park, given how much of the game's audio and research is pulled from the project there? I would absolutely go nuts for a DLC map set there!
Saga footage! That’s so exciting! It sent chills up my spine to see all those wolves running together, a sight you can only see right now in multiplayer. Love the excited “what do we do? we can bite it that’s so cool!” I’m beyond happy to see that we’re getting the first Saga devblog. (Currently we only have 1 pup named Sam😭Rival wolves got to our others, so we fight to keep that little guy kicking.) We're extremely excited!!!! New maps! And the hunting is so cute! Can we just take a moment on how hard working the developer's are on making such an intresting and stunning game, every little uptade and every little detail makes the game even more amazing! It's just the best wolf game for everyone to play, i really appreciate the effort and everything that the developers gave on this game, im so happy it exists :)

@@WolfQuestGame i think it would make sense for there to be a small chance that some wolves stay until the parents die, since that does happen irl(though usually because the parent isn't long-lived). And if that happens, it would be amazing to have the option of switching to one of your pups as the playable character for a seamless experience. Like if your wolf dies, a pop-up appearing where you can choose which adult pup you could play as, then you continue playing in the same save file.

So excited for pups to grow alongside you! i finished a game save without an account and was so excited, i made one after though. The fact that they'll soon learn to hunt and grow will be amazing! Now i am wondering whether the pack will stay together and you (if female) and your female pups will have pups, may leave to build a new pack, end up dying etc (It would be good if only a few left, like they bark at you, interact with you and their other parent if there is one, then turning and retreating. But if some stayed you could help them find mates by howling or them howling and they'd just run in the direction of a howl - So its like you are the dispersal wolves, You watch from a distance as they get a mate and poof for a day or two to bond then return). This vid is building views so quickly, I am proud to be the 901st like too! This new thing will be amazing, and i'm sure it'll work great with Dog Days - The new predators and older pack members. I also would suggest a future update: to be able to take over a pack in a way? Go to their territory where their camp is marked, Kill the assumed leader (Trying to target the females, killing the pups, killing half the pack or just scaring them away may work too) and their territory will spoil overnight - Their camp may change spots but if not thats one less territory and room for another new one! another comment i know but oh my god i have literally grown up with this game, i played it when i was 8 years old, im 22 now. it LITERALLY has grown alongside me. it oddly warms my heart htis game has been a big part of my life ever since and has been a game i turn to to find solace and its just genuinely one of my biggest comforts in life. thank you so much for such a lovely game, for educating people on this lovely animal and providing endless hours of entertainment. ill be in my 50s repping this game LOL
ANOTHER MAP??? This is pretty exciting :D I'm definitely excited to explore Hellroaring Mountain, and eventually Tower Fall. ALSO OMG seeing the pups hunting side by side with the breeding pair is incredible I'm so so excited!!!! (I hope there will be a "freeplay" mode like Endless Summer where I can just roam around with them without them eventually leaving/dispersing lol, I get way too attached.)

The amethyst mountain, all the way to the simple details of a skull and a antler. They put so much time into this and I know that the dev's won't disappoint us. The WolfQuest devs are genuinely the most hardworking and motivated game creators I know. It's just so obvious that everyone working on WolfQuest is incredibly passionate about it and it's so amazing to see. It's also one of the reasons why WolfQuest is one of my favorite games, because you can just tell that everyone working on the game truly wants it to be the best it can be.

It warms my heart to see how game changes and grows with new features through the years. Great job! I'm always happy to see (amd try out) whats new ❤
Saga update gives me serotonin as always c': Here are my thoughts: - The dynamic rival packs is a great idea for reflecting realism! I just hope there won't be a lot of repetitiveness in the pack names tbh. Maybe you could at least make it a save startup option to have the packs when you start a save on a map be randomly generated for those that don't want the same ol' real pack-based defaults? (the same default wolves for most of the rival packs on every save is why I never take a rival pack mate unless I've taken down enough for there to be randomly generated options in their place lol) - For the six-month-old pups, it could be cool if when summer starts turning to fall, the pups' coat could make a gradual blending transition from puppy coat to adult coat? - Also, regarding the possibility of pups growing into one of the Life Is Rough coats: that seems kinda redundant for the pups who haven't had any close calls during attacks on the den, especially if there'll be no more timeskipping to headcanon that they got the scar between seasons. Maybe along with the Saga look into implementing a scar system where instead of having a Life Is Rough coat, any wolf can collect some scars over time on any coat (and also be designed with them?). - For some of us storyteller-types, adding an option in customization to pick your wolf's exact starting age (like between 2 and 7) could be cool. And just for whatever starting age that wolf is at they either don't get perks until their first in-game age-up or are limited to just a bonus stat point or two, if you feel like letting players start a wolf out as earlier with a full selection of perks for their age would be cheaty. - I remember one of your looking back/Saga plans videos mentioned Pelican Bay as another region for a potential additional Yellowstone map, do you devs think that's something that might still be considered for another DLC map in the future? (After HM and TF of course)

And if that happens, it would be amazing to have the option of switching to one of your pups as the playable character for a seamless experience. Like if your wolf dies, a pop-up appearing where you can choose which adult pup you could play as, then you continue playing in the same save file.

So excited for pups to grow alongside you! i finished a game save without an account and was so excited, i made one after though. The fact that they'll soon learn to hunt and grow will be amazing! Now i am wondering whether the pack will stay together and you (if female) and your female pups will have pups, may leave to build a new pack, end up dying etc (It would be good if only a few left, like they bark at you, interact with you and their other parent if there is one, then turning and retreating. But if some stayed you could help them find mates by howling or them howling and they'd just run in the direction of a howl - So its like you are the dispersal wolves, You watch from a distance as they get a mate and poof for a day or two to bond then return). This vid is building views so quickly, I am proud to be the 901st like too! This new thing will be amazing, and i'm sure it'll work great with Dog Days - The new predators and older pack members. I also would suggest a future update: to be able to take over a pack in a way? Go to their territory where their camp is marked, Kill the assumed leader (Trying to target the females, killing the pups, killing half the pack or just scaring them away may work too) and their territory will spoil overnight - Their camp may change spots but if not thats one less territory and room for another new one! another comment i know but oh my god i have literally grown up with this game, i played it when i was 8 years old, im 22 now. it LITERALLY has grown alongside me. it oddly warms my heart
htis game has been a big part of my life ever since and has been a game i turn to to find solace and its just genuinely one of my biggest comforts in life. thank you so much for such a lovely game, for educating people on this lovely animal and providing endless hours of entertainment. ill be in my 50s repping this game LOL

ANOTHER MAP??? This is pretty exciting :D I'm definitely excited to explore Hellroaring Mountain, and eventually Tower Fall. ALSO OMG seeing the pups hunting side by side with the breeding pair is incredible I'm so so excited!!!! (I hope there will be a "freeplay" mode like Endless Summer where I can just roam around with them without them eventually leaving/dispersing lol, I get way too attached.)

I cant stop watching this. Im so impressed on how far the game and the development has come so far. Im so proud of the dev's and ill try and support them as much as I can. The amethyst mountain, all the way to the simple details of a skull and a antler. They put so much time into this and I know that the dev's won't disappoint us. The WolfQuest devs are genuinely the most hardworking and motivated game creators I know. It's just so obvious that everyone working on WolfQuest is incredibly passionate about it and it's so amazing to see. It's also one of the reasons why WolfQuest is one of my favorite games, because you can just tell that everyone working on the game truly wants it to be the best it can be.
And that's why it's so good.

And my birthday will be coming up in September, and I'm looking to get a new laptop, could anyone recommend a cheap enough laptop that can hold at least medium graphics for wolfquest? I'd like to try better graphics with the game and my current laptop isn't very good with that, so if I could get some recommended pcs that'd be great.

I am SO excited for this to come out. I've gotten massively into this game again lately and feel very hyped at all of the progress that is being made
It's come such a long way. Love being a part of the evolution.
Saga update gives me serotonin as always c': Here are my thoughts:
- The dynamic rival packs is a great idea for reflecting realism! I just hope there won't be a lot of repetitiveness in the pack names tbh. Maybe you could at least make it a save startup option to have the packs when you start a save on a map be randomly generated for those that don't want the same ol' real pack-based defaults? (the same default wolves for most of the rival packs on every save is why I never take a rival pack mate unless I've taken down enough for there to be randomly generated options in their place lol)
- For the six-month-old pups, it could be cool if when summer starts turning to fall, the pups' coat could make a gradual blending transition from puppy coat to adult coat?
- Also, regarding the possibility of pups growing into one of the Life Is Rough coats: that seems kinda redundant for the pups who haven't had any close calls during attacks on the den, especially if there'll be no more timeskipping to headcanon that they got the scar between seasons. Maybe along with the Saga look into implementing a scar system where instead of having a Life Is Rough coat, any wolf can collect some scars over time on any coat (and also be designed with them?).
- For some of us storyteller-types, adding an option in customization to pick your wolf's exact starting age (like between 2 and 7) could be cool. And just for whatever starting age that wolf is at they either don't get perks until their first in-game age-up or are limited to just a bonus stat point or two, if you feel like letting players start a wolf out as earlier with a full selection of perks for their age would be cheaty.
- I remember one of your looking back/Saga plans videos mentioned Pelican Bay as another region for a potential additional Yellowstone map, do you devs think that's something that might still be considered for another DLC map in the future? (After HM and TF of course)
