Because of this review, I purchased this bag! I’ve been looking for an EDC bag with a laptop and tablet sleeve. And it has a lot of pockets with great organization and high visibility lining.Totally sold! Thanks for the awesome review!
For the bottle issue: If you notice above the bottle holder pocket there is a little tab there. Hook a little bit of stretchy cord in there and keep it around the bottle, should keep it in place.
Thanks for the great review! One question, the backpanel on this bag looks different from the one in the review from George Defined. Has there been an update? In your experience, how breathable is the harness system?
Good eye! They made a few changes recently - two-color interior lining, and back exterior panel changed. I didn’t notice that the harness was an issue for beathabkilty at all in testing - but didn’t notice it as a strength either
@@ThePerfectBag Ok clear, thanks for the feedback! Would love a comparison video between this bag and the medium rainmaker since I’m planning to choose one of those as my everyday work, gym, weekend trip bag.
This bag has caught my eye a few times, but it’s too big for what I need. I need something that’s 80CM total, but maybe up 85 CM if the bag isn’t overly structured. I’d prefer an external water bottle pocket, and either molle or daisy chain to attach stuff too. I’ve tested a few bags so far that haven’t quite hit the mark - Topo Global Briefcase, Topo Lite Pack, and Gravel 11L. Thoughts on other options?
Total volume, I am going to be flying Singapore air and they have a strict personal item policy of 80CM, but since I won’t be overstuffing this, I might be able to get away with 85CM if the bag isn’t too rigid and structured.
Have you seen this backpack? You'll love it. th-cam.com/video/NnvuIBvYQfU/w-d-xo.html

The rainmaker wins on pockets and storage - hands down - but it’s a lot bulkier and heavier. (Edit typo)

Just to make sure I understand - are you looking for something 80cm in cubic volume?
or in height? or what?
