- Like everyone else present, Alia was overwhelmed by the Beating Retreat ceremony at the Wagah border. The 23-year-old actor spent time with jawans of the Border Security Force at the India-Pakistan border at Wagah while shooting for NDTV's Jai Jawan.

The BSF soldier shouted so loud in front of his BSF commander for permission to unhoist the national flag while alia was sitting with him, but Alia didn't understand a single word and asked him to explain.. Such stars are called hero and heroins and they potray our soldiers in their movies. They are called for such events as well. Its a shame!!!

Those were my golden days , i was lucky enough to witness this live .
Wagha border/ Atari border . We did not have smart phones so tht i could capture memories but at tht age I got excited and was imitating that parade before soldiers , they were smiling at me.
