I have been thinking about getting this deck for a long time and I always get distracted by other decks and leave this one to the side…. Your video has helped me make up my mind and I will order it and review it on my channel as well. Thank you again and I will subscribe and look out for your videos….😊
Oh, thanks for sharing Robin! "Card curmudgeon" lol. I just saw this deck a couple of days ago and I was curious about it. I like the thinner card stock - what you said about the Centennial is true, it tends to bite me when I try to shuffle. The card stock on the Centennial in a tin is different, and better.
Hi there, Thank you for making this video! it's nice and worth watching. I love this deck because of the new design of its card back! it seems dreamy to work with. and it's good to hear that there is no edge on the card back like centennial tarot. I am curious about the reason of "made in Italy" of this deck, which in interesting to me too.
Many thanks for showing this deck. I’m not attracted to it at all. It looks like the printer was running out of colour ink as it was being printed 🧐 I like the colour of the tuck box though. I’ve bought my daughter the Centennial for next month so was glad to see you comparing this. I agree with the copyright on both these decks. It’s unnecessary 🤷♀️ Looking forward to your next video 🤗
I'm so glad you and others preview (new) decks & having seen yours I can easily say that I would never buy this deck. There is nothing, in particular the way this deck is colored, that I find appealing. Drab and rather depressing. I suppose it would be perfect if you're color blind. I can't imagine Pixie would ever approve, but learning that she never colored them in the 1st place, they were all black & white, so it has been reported. Strangely enough, my favorite RWS deck has always been the University Books, pre-US Games version coloring and rendition. Compared to the various US Games versions, University Books card stock was thinner, maybe even a little flimsy, but the colors were very vivid making it a joy to use. My new 2nd favorite now, having gone through so many renditions is the Radiant Wise Spirit which is Lo Scarabeo's version. I just love this new version. I've never been a Lo Scarabeo fan but he's really outdone himself with this deck. It's exceptional. But I have to warn you it goes to the opposite extreme in terms of weight, thickness and stiffness of the card stock. If you can get beyond that it's a total joy to work with. Mind you you'll need large hands to shuffle. I'm a riffle shuffler from way back and that's it's only drawback. The University Books Deck (with the pink ankh on back) has the opposite problem. Too thin. But it certainly has held up nicely over the years and feels so great in the hands laying them out. Nice video. Thanks.
Thanks Robin. I like the idea of a thinner stock for shuffling purposes but the colors leave me cold. I think they could have still stayed with the gray theme but could have upped the color a bit more in places. It's pretty lifeless, I think. I will skip this one, for as much as I love RWS, I think it misses the mark. Thanks for a lovely video. Wishing you a safe and Happy Thanksgiving!💞💜🙏💜💞
@@toadstooltarot No, my son is sending over a Thanksgiving dinner since I opted to stay home because of the pandemic. I am cooking a small, boneless turkey breast for my dinner tonight and for the freezer. I made some coleslaw, have mashed potatoes and will made some honey gingered carrots . So I'll be having two different Thanksgiving dinners. My daughter in law is a great cook, with a different veggie menu, so I'm lucking out this year. We did a family zoom this morning which was a great thing to have during this pandenmic and we all enjoyed it that we are going to do those regularly.

Yay. I’ve been wanting to see a walkthrough of this one. Looks gorgeous.
Same lol

Nice video. Thanks.
I like. And I adore those backs.

Thanks June, and you too. Are you making a lovely Thanksgiving pizza in your new oven?

Thanks for sharing! 👍🏼
Maybe his deck is what it's like to be color blind. I have this deck and I use it when I'm depressed. I may cover the backs, I don't like them.
The muted colors and minor art flaws make pamela Colman smith's deck look vintage
I hope mine comes today!
I'm awaiting your review.
Do you play tarot games?
Hmmm. That's a philosophical question.
Saw it here in " rip - off Ireland " for €40
I don’t think it’s historically accurate tho. I think they just made it look old.. I could be wrong about that
I think you're right.
