I am taking break from buying new fragrances for the rest of the year but Gucci guilty and Ralph's Club elixir are sure in my list. I hope I'll have them in y collection some day. Great video as always!
Sounds great,it is always a good idea to take a step back. This hobby can get expensive very quickly. I'll try to keep you informed. 👊 Thanks for watching 🙌
elixir gucci is my god lovely fragrances.. it gave me reflection and some le male vibe..with vanilla..creamy.. longlasting. very pricy for 209 before tax for 60ml.. notnsure what were thinking.. i ordered a 10mlof it from online.. its must have for me..
@@ScentTrail it’s pretty darn good, I never liked it originally when it first released but one time, I sprayed some on my coat and it stayed for days and the smell lingered to my nose every time. The dry down is amazing. It lasts pretty long and projection is good about 2ft.
That's a tough one. 😳 It's probably best to go and test them. Since they are very different from one another. Let me know what you settled with. 😉Thanks for watching 👊
Le Male intrigues me… still deciding whether I get the elixir or Le Parfum. I own Sauvage Elixir and thing is ama completely different scent profile but it nukes people around you
I like your chanel. Please I need your help if you have to choose between invictus platinuim and invictus victory elixir wich one is the best for you and complement getter please. Thank you so much
It does say there are only 6 notes. I wouldn't worry to much. It is a stellar release. The best one in the Ralph's Club line in my opinion. Thanks for watching 🙌
Gucci Elixir ... 1 time per week i go to stores to smell perfumes and when accidentally smell it , i bought it . Not even care about anything else i was thinking of buying .
Some assistance needed. In case I want buy only one of these - Rank for me Bleu de channel EDP Channel Allure Home sport eau extreme. Spice bomb extreme
Lol,ok...usually I don't like to be locked down, but since it's you. 😉 #1 Bleu de Chanel Edp #2 Spicebomb Extreme And finally the Allure (only because we already have a Chanel ) otherwise it would be a 50 50 split between #2.👊
Too bad Gucci (and some others) didn't make it a whole new line Peter. Would be nice to see some new lines hit the market instead of yet another flanker.
I agree, that would be nice. I guess if you consider bottle and cap design also the potential advertising costs. It makes financial sense to milk the flankers for as long as they are profitable 😩 Thanks for watching 👊
@@ScentTrail Agree on that. It all does costs some money and to think within days there could already be a dupe made. But for me personaly, a kind of standard bottle with just a nice printing or a placard/ sticker (I don't know how to say it in English) on it, does the job also. There are already so many standard bottles to choose from. For example one of my signature scents: Chanel Platinum Égoïste. Nothing fancy about the bottle (it could be a 13 to the dozen one) and just some simple but recognizable Chanel lettertype printing on it. For me personaly it's all about what's inside the bottle that counts and not what the bottle looks like. Another example is Ormonde Jayne. She (they?) uses standard bottles but indeed with a decent cap on it. But look at the perfumes. Barely any flankers but always the same bottle, accept for some differences in colour of the glass. Which is just edding a simple ingredient to the glass. Last one. Tom Ford's his expensive line. It's all the same bottle except for the colour. These bottles only don't have a printing, but a placard on it. It just doesn't have to be all that fancy, extreme and overdone. I guess the houses do it to attract the younger generation??
@@ScentTrail I wish the market would go back to this. But also true: If you buy an expensive perfume you do expect to get a quality bottle, sprayer and cap as well. Else, it would be like buying a maserati and getting the quality from a Dodge Al Bundy drove in Married with Children.
I just tested JPG Le Male Elixir. What a disappointment! Do I love it? Well…yes. Great fragrance DNA. But I was expecting something stronger, more dense, more brooding and assertive. The opening was creative. The lavender and mint notes in the opening really work in a creative way, but not what one would expect.
Its a 10/10. The first 3-4 times i smelled it i didnt quite get the hype as i thought it was good but not what the hype made it out to be but then 4/5 time i gave it a full wear i could see Wow what a fragrance and now as i said its a 10/10 for me whereas the le parfum only is a 7.5 for me
@@carlito7863 doubly true. It was a skin scent on me for a day and a half! And, that’s even after two showers and one bath. Beast longevity. DannyFragrance.
I wasn’t too sure with Elixir either at first but tried it again the following day and wore it on a walk and it just had be smiling so much. It dries down really beautifully and it’s a bit of a stroke of genius in my opinion, it’s like a warm vanillary cookie sort of smell and it’s just gorgeous. I bought a bottle straight away alongside Le Parfum. Also it’s a 10/10 for projection and longevity too. Could still smell it on my jacket 2 days later!! 👌❤️

Gucci Guilty Elixir is probably the most refined, most sophisticated and most polished fragrance I have ever tried.
Gucci Elixir my fave buy of the year. Boss’s Elixir I didn’t get at all but my wife really hated it.

Nuclear power is Amouage interlude 53.. this must be original elixir 😂
I was extremely shocked at how good that Boss Bottled Elixir smells.

The Ralph's Club elixir notes are different on fragantica and Ralphs Lauren's website I'm confused 😕
