I love that when you suggest books for middle grade. I’m finding a lot more have agendas that we as a family don’t agree with but I feel like when you have a suggestion I can just hand the book to my son.

This collaboration is fantastic. We homeschool and both work outside the home and I have been forever looking for something that I could do and stay home.

I am SO excited for Middle Grade March and I love hearing your recommendations. I have the first Keeper of the Lost Cities on my shelf but I have been hesitant to read it because I feel like I will get sucked in for nine books! 😂 I LOVED Amari. You should read the second one because it is great as well and the third one comes out this year! The Cactus Books sound excellent - adding those to my TBR… maybe not for this March but for sometime!

Keeper of the Lost Cities is definitely a big series with big books but it's worth getting sucked into! My son says I need to read Amari and the Great Game for March so I guess I should listen to him.

My kids and I are driving 9 hours on Monday and I just downloaded 3 of these books to my audible! Thank you so much for the recs, especially Forget Me Not. 2 of my kids have Tourette’s, and I think it will be very meaningful to feel represented in a book like this!

@@ChantelReadsAllDay it is a very good series. The boy telling the story has a sister who is neuro-divergent. It is a very good series and quick reading.

There are so many books on this list that I want to get to! I read several middle grades last year that I really enjoyed, so I won't go into detail: Flunked by Jen Calonita (first book in the Fairy Tale Reform School series), You Have to Stop This by Pseudonymous Bosch (fifth and final book in the Secret series), Redwall by Brian Jacques, Escape from Mr. Lemoncello's Library by Chris Grabenstein, The Emerald Atlas by John Stephens, Absolutely Normal Chaos by Sharon Creech, and Amulet: The Stonekeeper by Kazu Kibuishi (a graphic novel series).

Hi! I put a bunch of these on my library holds, so thank you for the recommendations! I don't know if I can handle reading Forget Me Not, since I have Tourette's myself, and was told a lot of crap about it when I was diagnosed in 1989. I think it would be too real and emotional for me, but I'm very glad that the book is out there and informing people about the disorder and how we are treated. Things are handled much better now, compared to when I was a kid, but I still get laughed at and stared at a lot, so it's not as good as it can be. I'm glad you liked Forget Me Not. Have a great day, Chantel!

I love this video so much! Why haven't I read Stellarlune yet!?!? I have heard though, that it ends on the biggest cliffhanger of all. So maybe it's ok. I'm intrigued by the York series. I was just gifted Letters from the Lighthouse. I am hoping to get to that next month for sure. What a great list!

Yes, now just waiting for KOTLC book ten . . . I think it would have been fun to wait until they were all out and then just binge read the series.

Definitely the Wingfeather Saga, my daughter loves the Green Ember series and Best Family Ever. We have enjoyed the Christian Heroes Then and Now books we've read.

I have How To Get Away With Myrtle by Elizabeth C. Bunce. I have this in Hard Back Physical Edition.
I also have Greetings From Somewhere Series by Harper Paris. This is Middle Grade Mystery Series. There are 10 Books in this Series and they are all in Paperback and full of Illustrations as well. This is a really great series to read.
Lost In A Book by Jennifer Donnelly. I have this in Hard Back Edition and the Front Cover of this is just stunning. It is so beautiful. This is a Middle Grade Book.
    Delphine And The Silver Needle
    Delphine And The Dark Thread
    Author is Alyssa Moon.
The Front Covers of these are just beautiful. This is a Middle Grade.
    Take Care & Happy Reading

I wanted to expand on middle grade March and take the opportunity to read more Young Adult books, but there were too many middle grade books I wanted to read in March so now I’ve decided to do my own challenge. I’m calling it Young Adult April. I don’t have TH-cam or Instagram so I’m not hosting it or anything, just put it out there in case anyone finds it interesting 😂

    • @ChantelReadsAllDay
      @ChantelReadsAllDay  ปีที่แล้ว +2

That's a great idea! I was actually looking at my YA shelf wondering when I was going to get to those (because I also have a build up of lots of middle grade), if you remind me closer to April I'll try to join in with you!

Hi! I really want to read the keeper of this lost city, but it is a huge book and I love to listen to books on audiobooks during the day and read at night, but I can’t find the audiobook on my audiobook apps, so would you mind telling what app you used for that series?
