Thanks for this video. If my headset currently has no Bluetooth...does buying the with Bluetooth assembly make it Bluetooth compatible? (I wasn’t sure if there were any Bluetooth components inside the headset itself)
I have a military 174 plug and I’m getting out soon. I was curious if I could just change the cord. To a 2 prong set up by replacing the cable. Would you happen to know?

I had no idea! That was my original intention, to solder on a plug from an extension cable I had. Now I know what the other 3 wires are for. Thanks for pointing that out!
Bose has not connected the '6' cores - only two are connected. The rest are just lying inside the cable. They only use standard two wires so rather tham $275 you COULD use a cheap standard plug.

If it is the Bose A20, yes. You can just change the cord to fit whatever you need.

How do you replace Bose A20 Headset Boom Microphone separately ?
I dont think you can. I checked the Bose site and they do not sell just the mic boom. You have to buy the whole cable.
