Nobody believed me for over a year that I was going to retire at 55. After 39 years and 4 plant shut downs 4 different states on my birthday I walked out. I had a great deal of responsibility over 85 people. I left my company phone and walked. People tried to get ahold of me for weeks. I didn't answer the phone. 55 was always the plan. Nobody ever gave me a dime. Good luck.

A 2-weeks notice is programming and conditioning to the fullest depending on how long I work there and how they treated me boils down to whether I give them a notice but if it's obvious they don't give a damn about they will not get an extra 2 weeks off of me jobs are not loyal and they can fire or lay you off anytime they ready. Sorry, I would never quit a job without having another one lined up. That's like pretending you didn't need your paycheck or had any use for it. Also, the employer will contest any unemployment benefits, and the nation is experiencing a time in which daily and monthly expenses are higher than ever thanks to the impacts of various gov't actions. Any money you've got saved will quickly decline in amount every week you are out of work. Also, over the last 18 months, good jobs are fewer in number. I say all this as a person who has worked in some very difficult and upsetting work environments due to horrible people.

i am hurt limited work & i did shooting stuff this guy died left me a job to finish & report to new owner's it ended in june 2024 end of month a new one last rifle & tests i did I went threw like 30 rifles for these people i made sure I owned said rifles & did not have gas use 150 miles round trip like 300 miles i got computer control truck & driving aids but still i wanted more use like shooting or pro shooting use or fishing & or just rest to relax it been years of i got this to do really! yes fishing good but day after day for food is different & or tournaments for money! ( they ran out of money & let me go) well i pay for tests gas the money or break i got was not = to cost to do it! ok run a V6 boat i took 4- 6 gallon cans for a month = for 3 days now the oil company paid me 500 dollars that summer 100 = 4 cans & truck gas that a half a month now it might be days today's gas it be like airport high test mix with regular & run it no way! i got newer 60 hp helper guys run off ( it be nice it paid deal 700 grand i left go back!) i won it i can't fly there health problem! to Google no show for help! it all i paid these fools!

I have to fight to keep the job. I do t quit. They will suffer!
