@@bracita15 Yes! I haven't kept up with the show, but hope they include that and one of my all time favorite look of Diana: the popped collar and cropped sleeve white beaded encrusted jacket with a tiara!.
Like everyone loved her, and I mean EVERYONE. I say this as a Black person. My African mother adored her, African-Americans love her and so on. The best part is that she truly deserved ALL the love. I get so sad knowing what she went through married to big ears, all alone with that family, but then I see her sons and know her spirit lives on. She would be so proud of them.
Not big ears lol but yes as I just wish I was alive to witness her era but now I understood why everyone was so happy and watched Prince Harry’s wedding, including myself cuz it was almost like Diana’s era all over again.
I was one of those 750M people watching. My mom and I were up at 3:30 in the morning to watch from the beginning because VCRs really weren’t a thing yet for everyone as they cost about $1600. Diana was 21 months older than me, to the day. I followed her style in People and other publications. We really did think she was living the dream and we all wished we could find our prince too. (Spoiler: I didn’t find any at the university.). Having followed her journey from shy teenager marrying into the British royal family to confident woman who used her popularity and voice to champion important causes to seeking a grownup love with whom she could truly happily spend the rest of her life, I was absolutely devastated when she died. She was literally cut down as she came into her prime.
Charles was so jealous of her that’s why he could never love her..she was suppose to be just the wife of the prince but she walked in front of him not behind him and people just loved her for her beauty and kindness and she just shined through all of that.and because she was so beautiful she was meant to breed good looking heirs which she did..
My nieces LOVE this series! I think that this is a huge influence on young women, not in a inflammatory way, but is something that they can relate to....even if it is about someone who is rarified environment.
Honestly, my favourite outfit of hers from the show was from the last few minutes of the season when she was talking with Prince Phillip, the sweater and blue jeans. Idk why lol. But I loved the yellow overalls, too.
@@盧璘壽로인수 Gosh, I watched that interview so many times. "Tonight on Panorama, the Princess of Wales. 'She won't go quietly, that's the problem. Because I believe I have a role to fulfill. And I have two children to bring up.' " :((((((((
To Everyone who wants to see the Diana after the divorce in season 5, that will happen. They have confirmed an actress, Elizabeth Debicki. Yayayayay 🥳🥳

Most famously, she went on to star as Patty Bladell in Insatiable. She also appeared in Grace, Life of the Party, Every Day, Cover Versions, Rip Tide, Sing It! and more. That’s not all! The actress even joined a band called The Never Ending. The group released an EP called One in 2014, and it was seriously full of bops. Unfortunately, Debby got arrested for driving under the influence in April 2016. She pleaded no contest to reckless driving and was sentenced to three years of probation, community service, and a DUI program. As for her love life, the former Disney star got engaged to Twenty One Pilots drummer, Josh Dun, in December 2018, and fans couldn’t be more excited for her!) 1: Cameron Boyce (The entire world was heartbroken when Cameron tragically passed away on July 6, 2019, after having a seizure in his sleep. He suffered from a medical condition called epilepsy and was only 20 years old at the time of his death. Before his sad passing, he starred in Gamer’s Guide to Pretty Much Everything, Steps, the Descendants movies and more. Cameron was super passionate about giving back, helping others and using his platform for good, and before his death, he was involved in numerous charities. He definitely will never be forgotten.) IMHO, One of the reasons Diana became a fashion Icon is BECAUSE she stayed within the royal guide lines. She DRESSED! At a time when clothes were becoming more and more casual, Diana appeared wearing actual clothing ensembles. They were demure, and modest but fashionable. She wore them very well, and much better than Emma Corin, who appears to be swallowed up by them. It's rather funny to me that a simple English girl could wear the clothes better than a professional actress, but there you are! She really was a Princess!
Camilla never showed remorse. While Diana's body was lying in the Chapel Royal at St. James's Palace, Camilla was at St. James's Palace with her friends commemorating.
Diana was the youngest daughter of Earl Spencer. The aristocrats do not spend much money on their daughters' clothing until they are in the marriage market. They usually have a much bigger budget after marrying, since their social obligations increase exponentially. Look at the clothing her sisters wore before marrying. Not much better. Their fashion choices earned them the nickname "Sloane Rangers".
Absolutely cheap. Thumbs down. Greedy producers using a tragedy to which a legacy can never be mimicked to make money. I will never support a series or movie that tries to replicate Princess Di's legacy
It's called the crown, it's a series and many love love it..... they are not making any more money off of Di's tragedy than the tragedy of being a royal with all the restrictions. Everyone is living a tragedy here. Don't like movies don't watch, don't feed the machine your money.... but I adore it
@@gaetagirl For some it hits too hard on a personal level I guess. I was young when the news of her death surfaced but I remember crying asking why someone so beautiful inside and out had to go like that. I'm glad you enjoy the series as it may bring to light a lot of the evils of the royals. Lol you're right, I dont feed the entertainment machine my money- too many people have been violated in that industry
Charles thought Diana's personality mattered more to her than his happiness. With her personality, she became the people's "meet me and feel better just for having met me" figure. That status was supposed to go to Charles. He told her she needed to stop doing this. He told her that as the heir to the throne, he should impart grace as a royal more than her. Still she didn't stop doing it. Instead, she accused him of suppressing her personality, and of not wanting love shown to the people. Ultimately, Charles went to Camila because Diana didn't respect his struggles, and because Diana misrepresented him by antagonizing his struggles.
Lol seriously, Charles was and still is a weak insecure man. No one gave a crap about boring, ugly Charles. Even when Diana was in the background, she still took the spotlight without even trying. Diana had that x-factor something he will never have. How in the world can there be a future King that that was so insecure. Charles needed to do some hard looking in the mirror. Even now with no Diana, his own sons and their wives are still more popular than the heir to the thrown Charles. Clearly the problem lies with Charles.
How can anyone respect a man who is jealous of his own wife? And it wasn’t just Charles who was jealous it was the rest of the family too. They couldn’t deal with the fact that an outsider could come in and make them all look so inept.
I don’t deny that he was insecure. Or that he should have toughed it out rather than run away into the arms of another woman. Just that this was his thinking, according to my reading. To him, refusal to stop making him feel small after all he’d been through was as big a betrayal as infidelity. To him, that is what ended the marriage.
