    Honestly I couldn't agree more with the guy who said Baer is the best. Yt has so many options for us firearm loving people, and I watch a LOT of them. HonestOutlaw is my favorites for reviews of different pistols, rifles, shotguns, etc. Baer is hands down the absolute best (and my favorite by a huge mile) for everything related to solid fundamentals, knowledge, learning right habits and unlearning wrongs. The best explanations, clear and no bs, including how, and why. I've been shooting for over 30 years, and these videos have helped me improve immeasurable in weeks since implementation. Makes me wanna move back to Oregon because of the beautiful scenery in his videos though!!!

    What are your timed expectations for drawing from a thumb release level three holster? Always great stuff btw.

    • @baersolutions
      @baersolutions  ปีที่แล้ว +8

      There's a lot of trains of thought on that, but the faster the better. It may take you longer to get to a 1 second draw because of the locking mechanisms, but you can do it. Mil Spec Mojo has a channel and he can get his gun out in around 0.9 seconds from a level 3 holster. I would say to shoot to get to 1.25, which is pretty achievable once you understand the little nuances in the holster and your draw, then have some patience and with enough dry fire you'll start dropping from there. Just remember, the faster the times, the more work it takes and the smaller the gains. Look for 5% improvement each month.

      @@baersolutions Thanks, I'll check out the video. I'm a competitor and pretty proficient with my race holster and CC holster but I'm pretty new to the L3 duty holster game and was just wondering about times.

    • @silvertreeindustries6298
      @silvertreeindustries6298 ปีที่แล้ว

      On my third try, I was able to shoot it clean (all A-zone) in 3 seconds using a Safariland 7360, no nub on the ALS. My current goal is 2.5 seconds, and I know my drawstroke is where I need to put in the work for this time.

    I like this but my question is “who is really running around with a belt and a lvl 1 holster like that? Direct action units maybe? and such make up a very small %. I would argue the more realistic and common setup is ccw.
