The Story of the Cow in Surah Al-Baqarah to the Miracle of Prophet Moses in Bringing the Dead Back to Life
This story is found in Surah Al-Baqarah verses 67-73, which tells of an important event among the Children of Israel during the time of Prophet Moses.
Once, there was a murder among the Children of Israel, but they did not know who the perpetrator was. They then came to Prophet Moses to ask for guidance. Allah SWT then ordered them to slaughter a cow.
However, the Children of Israel did not immediately obey the order. Instead, they asked many questions about the nature and characteristics of the cow that had to be slaughtered. Every question they had was answered by Allah SWT through Prophet Moses, until finally they found a cow that was in accordance with Allah's command.
After the cow was slaughtered, Allah SWT ordered that some of its meat be hit on the corpse that had been killed. With Allah's permission, the dead person came back to life and revealed who the killer was.
