If I wanted an infomercial from a bunch of shoe engineers with no concept of work experience I would type that in the description. What I wanted was information on good work boots for working in a warehouse on concrete all day from people that know what that's like.

Right now I’m wearing caterpillar invaders steel toe had them 3 days and they are comfortable i like the way the tread pattern looks and comes up and around the front of the toe box and the back of the heel so your heel is protected I like chunky overbuilt work boots with deep lug soles because they give u maximum traction when you’re outside in snow I’d like to see either a air bladder type cushion in the heel like a sneaker or a elastomer spring that springs back with every step

They need to modify the steel or composite toes to fit wide feet. My toes don’t all of a sudden shrink to fit the cap. In other wards , the tip should be flared so your toes don’t bang into the edges of the cap. You never accommodate people with very wide feet.

Timberland boondocks get the wide size and go a half size big if needed. Keens are also wide in the toe box. I have the same problem and the boondocks have been going strong for 3 years now with no pain

I work on polished concrete 8 hours a day my entire feet hurt during and after everyday however I’m walking a lot and find most boots are too heavy for the amount of walking and end up hurting my knees I’m looking for a shock absorb boot that’s lightweight any help?

I work on concrete constantly moving in a large facility, and my feet hurt like hell what shoe is the best for that. I keep getting many recommendations but soon as I tell somebody about the shoe I was recommended. They say the shoe is bad so I don’t know what to believe.

I work on concrete floors all day and the Timberland Helix is the best I've found. My feet still hurt sometimes but I don't think any steel toe work boot is going to be 100% comfortable.

I have wide flat feet and I work indoors in retail I wear steel toe to protect my feet from heavy boxes dropping on my feet and by the end of the day my feet feel like they on fire I’d like to have a boot that has a air cushion heel like a Nike air sneaker

I’ve had several pairs of the Timberland anti fatigue boots. They were very comfortable boots, but the sole tends to separate from the upper. However, the last two pairs I bought did not stay comfortable very long. I switched over to Thorogood moc toe boots and I’m so glad I did.

May I suggest you create shoes without steel toes but with the shock absorber and cushion?
If you have a boot without the enforced toe, will you please let me know what the size conversation to women's sizes are?

  • @slowstang88

Most of these are short lasting treads bonded to a shitty whelt. You get what you pay for. If you're working on set concrete, stitched on soles will last the longest. I bought USA made Thorogoods for $289 and they have lasted 1.5 years but now the crepe treads are worn out. I'd willingly pay 350-400 for good quality American made work boots
