Thanks for posting this. I love Dave and Jay Z interviews. They're always hilarious! I think it's because, unlike some people, they get each others sarcasm and subtext so much. I really pity people that don't have the intelligence to understand those things. Such a sad and horrible life that must be.
Wow, just saw that! I remember when I was a kid and hate was people beating people half to death. I also remember Jay saying, "Like eight blacks, four crackers, get your ass jumped". So where's the hate speech?
letterman (67) & jay z (40) are hardly the same age..... and no one mentions Mary J is 39. And you haters are doggin' Jay Z .... uh... for being talent and relevant at 40 (jealous much).
Jay-Z has a good sense of humor!!! I never knew that!! NonInterventionist, Jay did his best to keep his integrity by not giving a detailed account of his beef with kels a nd at the same time, he explained why kels is so unpopular not only with him, but with a lot of people in the music biz i.e. Joe - his one time good buddy!
This is perfection... Queen Mary and King Jay ... this the best!!! I never get tired of them. Wish they did it more often. Their chemistry here was off the hook 👐. And this joint was/is one of my all time favourite from JZ's catalogue. Jay is funny asf during interviews... that smile and the way he tells his stories 😂😂😂
if u watch other interviews of him like on oprah you can see that he is really mature, and has done really well for himself, gosh the endeavours he has accomplished if overwhelming. him performing music is one small aspect of what he does in his life.
Watch Jay-Z in an hour long conversation with Warren Buffett , the richest man in America, with the owner of Fordes Fortune 500 magazine. Jay-Z is a brilliant articulate businessman You will understandwhy he is a mutilmillionaire. He is always acting for laughs on the Letterman show. All young people need to watch and hear what Jay-Z have to say.
Hov and Mary combo cannot be beat. No knock to Bey, but there is something about hearing Mary on a song with Hov that makes it a super classic in the streets. Reasonable Doubt is THE JAY-Z ALBUM then and now!
@Lets-Code-your-CareerForced on us? I think Bey and Jay work well together. 03' Bonnie and Clyde is a hip hop classic that people remember still to this day even Crazy in Love is still a hit after 20 years.
3:21 It's great how they all laugh about R-Kelly being predator. Him in the drive-thru picking up on girls. Hahaha. I wonder if they'd laugh if it was their child?
omg this was the jay z interview a few days before jay married bee!!!!!!!!
Jay-Z has mad swag
M.J.B. looks so nervous walking out on stage, but she sure is confident with the mic, woman has got some pipes!
The only reason why she look nervous because Miss thing she's High.. she Coke up

@@leonverzuznoel636 uptown wouldn’t let her do it …same way puff wouldn’t let big do the Brooklyn’s finest video
Everytime Jay & Mary performs this track, it's a classic.....
I love Jay Z's laid back approach to life, and the punch lines are something to live for. Forever Young :)

Mann. To work an Tour and still have time to work at Mickey D's.. Thats Ambition!
My 2 favorites!!!! ❤️❤️
I'm sorry Bey Blue Ivy looks like Jay. The facial expressions are exactly like her father's.
Ok that's her father she suppose to look like him and she look just like Bey to
I cant be the only one laughing my ass off at MJB's moves 😂
That performance at the end was bangin, real soulful.
Love these two! Jay-z is the only rapper that I have all of his albums and still listen to at least one per day
One of my favorite videos of all time is Jay Z and Mary J Blige, my favorite rap artists❤❤❤❤❤
The description of thie video is wild smh
what is the name of the intro song when they came in? is it one of their collaboration? or just some instrumental that the band played?
Heart Of The City
I’d rather hear him sing with MJ than Bey any day. She’s SO underrated.
Has Jay-Z forgotten his manners? Ladies first, Mary J should of sat near David Letterman.
Ladies first.
I think it’s because the interview is primarily with him
did anyone read the description??? LMAOOO
Love Jay's live, i think it's better than the cd. Can't wait for Blueprint 3
I literally watched this whole vid and everything just to see tony royster jr play drums but loved the interview and i dig this song
Jay-z, back when he was hungry.

CAN't KNOCK THE HUSTLE!
Great Performance!! True Hip-Hop!!

I am so loving the boots Mary is wearing.
I can't believe she hasn't launched a boot line
Haters gon' hate.

Didn't know Jay Z had such a sense of humor. He was very funny. Love Mary!!
true i know the game changed but it would be nice to see him go classic again
Its called heart of the city frm the bp2 album
Interviewer was really on them about being together
This was good. Jay is funny. There is no prerequisite for an entertainer to be a good interviewee...
2 things that aged well: Jay-Z saying R Kelly's a "great guy" and the description of this video 😆 like damn.
3:21 It's great how they all laugh about R-Kelly being predator. Him in the drive-thru picking up on girls. Hahaha. I wonder if they'd laugh if it was their child?
I'm making short term goals when the weather folds....Jay is the BEST ALIVE period point blank
Her passion and voice make up for her dancing. Most dancers can't sing though.
does anyone know what song is that being played at their entrance? the one that jay-z dances to.
